Emma Watson loves mice
Emma Watson is here to show us she’s a talented actress who can play other characters apart from Harry Potter‘s Hermione Granger. Last night she premiered her latest animated movie The Tale of Despereaux in LA.
The movie is based on the book by Kate DiCamillo, which won the Newbery Medal in 2004. It tells the story of a brave and inquisitive mouse named Despereaux and his two friends, rat Roscuro and awkward servant girl Mig who have to save Princess Pea’s life, whom Emma gave her voice to.
I read the script, and I just loved it. It was so charming. I fell in love with Despereaux, so I really didn’t have a choice. I had to be his princess,” Emma Watson told MTV.
18-year-old starlet attended the premiere in a short navy blue dress and was all smiles posing for photographers alongside her costars Matthew Broderick (Despereaux) and Dustin Hoffman (Roscuro), as well as the mouse itself.
The movie hits theaters on December, 19. So far you can enjoy the teaser.
Even such films as Despereaux and Ratatouille can’t make me like mice. Though the cartoon characters are really cute.
