Coco Before Chanel – new trailer
Fashion passes, style remains
Simply can’t miss this movie. Firstly, I love Audrey Tautou, she’s brilliant. And secondly, this film brings the real story of the most fashionable woman of all times, Coco Chanel.
The film is written and directed by sisters Anne and Camille Fontaine and shows how Gabrielle Chanel (played by Tautou) made her way from the humble living to the heights of society due to gifted eye, confidence and innovational thinking.
Focusing on the era in which Gabrielle “Coco” Chanel served as mistress of an eccentric millionaire, the film reveals, via meticulous period imagery, how the couturier forged a style that would change the way women dressed in the 20th century.
From a mistress to a cabaret dancer, from a seamstress to a fashion icon, Coco Before Chanel chronicles the evolution of the talented designer and her turbulent personal life.
Enjoy this new UK trailer for the movie that’s been exclusively presented by The Telegraph. It’s in English. Go here to watch the teaser in French; it’s a bit different from the English version.
Coco Before Chanel (aka Coco Avant Chanel) will be getting a limited release on September 25.
