Angelina Jolie goes platinum blonde for new movie
What do you think about her new image? Though it’s just for her new movie, Salt. And it’s only one of the wigs the actress, 33, will wear while shooting the spy flick.
The filming takes place in New York and started the other day.
Angelina plays a CIA operative, Evelyn A. Salt, who’s a master of disguise.
She’s a character you never know,” producer Lorenzo di Bonaventura told USA Today. “People who think they know the real her may or may not. Those who think they can tell whether she’s in a disguise also may or may not. You’re supposed to be kept guessing. She tells you her agenda, but are you supposed to believe it?”
The core of the movie’s mystery is finding out which one is the real Salt.
The film was initially called Edwin A. Salt and was set to star Tom Cruise. But the script was rewritten as soon as Jolie expressed an interest.
It’s not the first time Angelina Jolie radically changes her image for the movie part. She went blonde for 1999′s Girl, Interrupted that brought her an Oscar as the Best Supporting Actress.
She portrayed blonde Sway in Gone in 60 Seconds (2000)
And she was a sexy peroxide blonde reporter in Life or Something Like It (2002)
