There are just a few days of voting left in this year’s DJ Mag Top 100 DJs Poll and with the past month’s votes already cast, things are shaping up nicely but there’s still time to ensure that your favourite DJs get the props they deserve!

Will the Trance fraternity rule the roost again, can Tiësto topple Armin Van Buuren from the top of the tree? Will the Techno crew make an even bigger splash, will there be any Breaks DJs in this year’s list, can Terry Wogan beat Chris Moyles again? Rapper 50 Cent is the Hip Hop Cash King, at least that’s what Forbes says. According to the business publication, 50 Cent has made $150 million over the past year, making him number 1 on the list of hip hop riches.

Mr. Curtis James Jackson III better known as 50 Cent is followed by Jay-Z who made $82 million.

Seems like there must be some kind of mistake here, right?

But turns out 50 Cent knows other means of getting rich besides making music and producing. The ‘In Da Club’ singer owns 10% of Glaceau, the firm owning Vitamin Water that was recently purchased by Coca Cola for a $4.1 billion. So 50 Cent’s business intuition turned his initial investment into a $400 million pay check, according to the source.

50’s portfolio also includes the popular G-Unit clothing line and record label, plus films, videogames and a slew of platinum albums, including last year’s Curtis, Forbes reports.

Rappers have more diversified portfolios than pop stars, that’s for sure. “They’re trying to buy some Gucci , I’m trying to buy the mall,” 50 Cent said of other celebs.

Sean “Diddy” Combs came third for the second year in the row earning $35 million. His revenue comes from his clothing line Sean Jean, record label Bad Boy, premium vodka Ciroc and two reality-TV shows.
P Diddy is followed by Kanye West ($30m), Timbaland, Pharrell Williams, Snoop Dogg, Swizz Beats, and Dr. Dre.

It’s time for a hat-off between Justin Timberlake and Ashton Kutcher.

The biggest guy in music industry, world famous producer Timbaland just married publicist Monique Idlett. The couple wed in a formal ceremony on a private island in Aruba, the Caribbeans.

VIP guests included Missy Elliott, Omarion, rapper Magoo, singer Keri Hilson. In total there were approximately 300 people.

Earlier this month the couple has tied a knot with a family pastor in Virginia welcoming a baby daughter named Reign last November. She is Timbaland’s third child after two sons Demetrius and Frankie from the previous relationship.

At the wedding Demetrius gave the bride away and little Frankie was the ring bearer.

Yesterday J Lo and her husband Marc Anthony arrived to Moscow for MUZ TV music awards. J Lo held a press conference after which she treated Russia’s leading music channel with two songs.

Earlier in the day, Jennifer and Marc were spotted at the Moscow Hotel. They looked happy but a little jet tired. J Lo has recently given birth to her twin babies, a girl and a boy.

Among other special guest performers there were 30 Seconds to Mars, Jared Leto’s band and sure Russia’s A list singer and Eurovision 2008 winner Dima Bilan.

He was pleased to hear congrats from Jennifer, and she was overwhelmed by his looks and charisma. Marc Anthony looked a bit jealous. There are rumors Dima Bilan will make a song with J Lo and Timbaland this coming fall.

The hostess to the event was Ksenia Sobchak who calls herself ‘The Paris Hilton of Russia’. The two partied together at the Russia’s MTV music awards vodka afterparty.

In sports and pop music, Russia is winning.

Brilliant performance in the Eurovision Song Contest by singer Dima Bilan got him the victory Russia has been waiting for too long. It followed a series of sports victories that have fed the resurgent country’s increasing self-confidence.

President Dmitry Medvedev reached Bilan on a mobile phone in the middle of the night to congratulate him.

Prime Minister Vladimir Putin, who is former President of the country sent him text message saying it was “one more important triumph for all of Russia,” officials said.

In Belgrade, Serbia, Bilan performed along with Evgeni Plushenko, the Olympic champion figure skater who helped by pirouetting on ice. Plushenko is also a politician. He said:

Russia is the favorite now, it’s just tearing everybody up — in basketball, football, hockey, and Eurovision!”

Dima has worked with such people as Timbaland and his brother, together they created song called ‘Number One Fan’.

The Promiscuous Girl is back! I think we can expect a new song coming from Nelly Furtado around the end of May, as she is expected to be on Lil Wayne’s track as part of his upcoming album title “Tha Carter lll”.

The song is rumored to be titled “Party Control” and is also expected to feature Justin Timberlake & Timbaland. Those two are everywhere! Love’em. The release date is June, 10th.
