Missing in action for close to two years, rapper Eminem, 36, is making a comeback with a new album and a memoir.

Titled The Way I Am, book is to be released in the US on Tuesday, the Detroit Free Press reports.

The new album is called Relapse, and will be the rapper’s first release since 2005’s not-so-aptly named greatest hits compilation, Curtain Call. Eminem’s last original album was Encore, in 2004.

New $40 coffee-table book is part autobiography, part archival history. It’s an attempt to reveal the “real” Marshall Mathers through pictorial sketches and commentary.

Excerpt from Eminem’s new book The Way I Am

Some of the more newsworthy passages from our exclusive excerpt of The Way I Am:

On his infamous mood swings:

My mood can change quickly. It’s always been that way. When I was drinking, I could be in a good mood just loving everybody and feeling like everything was great then somebody would say the wrong s— to me, and before you knew it there was nothing my bodyguards could do to stop me from reacting and at least punching, spitting, or kicking a few times before they could get to me.”

On the Triumph//Christina incident at the VMA Awards several years ago:

You all saw the Triumph thing go down at the MTV Video Music Awards, right? That’s a pretty perfect example …I’ve got behind me, and Christina [Aguilera] up onstage, and then this dog puppet gets up in my face. I’d been so busy touring and doing my own s— that I hadn’t had time to watch TV, so I had no idea what that dog was. All I saw was and Christina and this dude who’s sticking his hand in my face, trying to be funny …My natural reaction was, ‘Get the f— out of my face. Get your f—ing hand out of my face.’ And that’s when I kind of lost it and a half …I stuck my fingers basically on ’s nose. Right in his face, like, ‘F— you’ …The thing is, in the hip-hop world, when you talk about someone, you might not want to see them, because you don’t know what’s going to happen. With …my instinct was, someone talks about you, you see them, you fight. But ? Really? I was going to fight ? I was going to fight a puppet? In hindsight, I should have handled it differently, and I truly believe that if I were in that situation again, knowing the whole shtick with the puppet dog, I would have acted differently. What I actually got mad about was the most ridiculous thing in the world. A puppet.”

On how he’s changed and the importance of family:

This problem is not something I’m proud of. I mean, I’m a lot better than I used to be …but it’s still messed up. I’m 35 years old. I’m a dad now. Once you hit 30, you’re supposed to at least be a half-grown-ass man, you know what I mean? The truth is, a lot of things put me on edge …It can be something as simple as being asked a million stupid questions, or a rapper who’s not on my level trying to come up by starting beef with me …God knows, 10 years down the road I don’t want my daughters hearing about all this some¬where and going, ‘He thinks it’s cool to act like this.’ Because I don’t. But, you know, when you grow up like I did—bouncing around, fighting for everything—it does make you angry …It was almost a way for me piss back in the face of the people who pissed on me all my life—to get back at every bully who ever picked on me, every person who ever f—ed with me growing up. The fact that Hailie’s life is so differ¬ent than mine is one of my proudest achievements … The stakes are high, and my family comes first. Marshall Mathers behind bars isn’t cute, and Eminem behind bars is terrible for business.”

On gun violence:

Guns and violence have been around me my whole life—in my family life, in my social life, everywhere. I’ve just always had a fascination with them. I’m not saying I was a thug or that I dealt drugs or murdered people. That’s just how I was raised—step up or get stepped on—so I never really thought it was a problem, you know? Anybody who has a gun will tell you that at first it makes them feel powerful. I was infatuated. Obviously I don’t feel that way now. I’ve lost too many friends, family members, loved ones to gun violence. I would much rather use my fists. (Kidding.)”

Don’t even try to tell me Leonardo DiCaprio isn’t a great actor. He is. Period. This Friday big movie night will once again prove it’s true.

Leonardo DiCaprio and surprisingly large ’ re-starring in Ridley Scott’s Body of Lies that hits movies October 10. The film is based on Washington Post columnist David Ignatius’ 2007 novel about a CIA operative, Roger Ferris (DiCaprio), who uncovers a lead on a major terrorist leader suspected to be operating out of Jordan. Ferris is definitely the best man in U.S. Intelligence working in team with CIA veteran Ed Hoffman (Crow) to lure the terrorist out into the open. The closer the agent gets to the target, the better he understands the ambiguous nature of trust that is both dangerous and life-saving.

In case you feel like watching a really serious movie this Friday night, here’s the movie I just couldn’t overlook. Though it’s not a feature one, it’s surely worth your attention due to issues it concerns and things it reveals.

Call And Response reveals the world’s 27 million dirtiest secrets: there are more slaves today than ever before in human history. According to the film, featuring such luminaries as Cornel West, Madeleine Albright, Daryl Hannah, Julia Ormond, Ashley Judd, other political and cultural figures, in 2007 slave traders made more money than Google, Nike and Starbucks combined.

Music presented by such artists like , Natasha Bedingfield, Cold War Kids, Matisyahu, Five For Fighting, Switchfoot and others, is a part of the movement to stop human slavery

Britney Justin Young

Britney Spears is getting back on the line. Her father Jamie asked Justin Timberlake to come to the family bbq party which will be held in early June. What a caring parent! He supposed it will make his daughter feel better after seeing her best-friend-forever, who once used to be her boyfriend. Justin agreed to meet with her face – to – face.

Justin

Recently most of the celebs stopped joking much about poor girl who lost custody of her children and had to be hospitalized for mental issues twice earlier this year. For instance thinks the reason for Brit acting this way is due to the fact she was a child – star. He said:

She became an international icon aged 16. In a weird way she’s challenging people, but it’s breaking my heart because ultimately she’s not doing things on a symbolic level. Cutting your hair off is symbolic. Losing your children and becoming a drug addict is not.”

Moby

What can I say, I hope there will be something changing her life towards the better. It’s not entertaining anymore to watch her fall down further and further, it’s getting sad. What’s up with this fucked up outfit?

  • The truth is still out there?

  • I know you probably wonder why I’m posting this as it has nothing to do with celebs, glam events, glitzy lifestyle and all this Hollywood stuff that I typically bitch about. An article caught my attention and I thought to myself, damn, the truth is still out there.

  • Wings cut short, or sort of bdsm pleasure

  • You know I was just thinking about the things that make me vulnerable. Cause I personally hate this feeling, like being hanged in the air like being controlled from outside and unable to do my thing. Generally, who the hell was the first to come up with the idea of control? And the more important question, why do we need it? If I wanna do something I'll do it anyway and either way, and if I do it breaking some rules, escaping the CONTROL, then the feeling would just get better and the victory would just feel sweeter. So why do we need control and sort of submission it takes a long. What sort of bdsm pleasure is that supposed to give?

  • Stirring things up!

  • Did you ever provoke a fight with your guy? You love getting on his nerves because that makes him so obscure and funny – “cute” so we say. No, you’re not sadistic. Just the fact that after the make up, it feels so sweet to be the conqueror- to have the feeling of power! To feel the situation is under your control - to cause a fight and then to stop it. Isn’t it just so dramatically sweet to push the edges once in a while?

I love pushing his triggers. Some may think I’m an evil witch, but I’m simply making our relationship tempered, exciting, resolute, pert.

If you intentionally get into a fight with him – you are not sick in a head (and no, you’re not just a bitch). Scientists say that a healthy relationship is a relationship where there are arguments, and any argument needs a solution, right? That takes out our negative energy and brings us closer.

  • Breaking Rules

  • No matter how obvious it sounds most of the rules have been created long before us. By rules I mean systematized experience of previous generations, like handshakes and etiquette, and things like going for a social smoke. There is a rule that ladies go in first into any door except the elevator.

But rules are a need for the sense of stability around one. Society needs rules to forecast the effect of a cause, to have at least some confidence of the future. And this is what disappoints people. This is when they lose their confidence because things appear not the way they expected them to be. Those who were really dependent on expectations suffer from facing the world that is unpredictable, that the rules they believed in didn’t work at some turning point.

So they say that only fools learn through their own mistakes. Don’t you remember your mom telling you not to stick your tong out and put it against the metallic balcony railing when it’s freezing cold outside? Why did I skip my SPSS class with that macho from senior class? All of my friends were telling me he was a player and had nothing else in his head except for getting laid. Why do we learn things only after we go through them? This is what humans are like.

  • Be what You want to Be

  • What do you call it when you feel something against your will? When the call of that something inside you starts ripping your self - esteem in pieces while your consciousness tells you to stop.

I never had it when I was a child.

I always felt what I wanted and I always wanted that what I felt.

Being used to getting what I want I am stuck. Stuck in the position like being lost in the desert. There’s nowhere to go. I can’t deny what I feel but I also can’t afford to feel it. It’s against my beliefs and values. Hum… fuck the beliefs. I don’t care.

No more. The human mind is such control-freak. It kills me. And if I continue it will sound like a confession to you and this is the least I want to do.

  • Sex Agenda

  • Inspired by “fuck” conversation last Saturday, which is a very delicate subject.

All of us, living in a fast growing temper of big cities are busy. We go to work, go to college full time, or have kids to take care of. There are plenty of things to do. When crazy week days are over we have yoga or tango classes, and shopping to do aside the chorus, french classes and getting a good sleep.

When is there time for sex?

The right answer would be - there is always time for sex. But the stress and busyness lead some couples to pencil their intimacy. It is logical, simple and hot to know that your schedule after works has a mark “Ryan 8 pm”. It is exciting to feel the anticipation, but on the other hand do we feel it is comfortable to set up our special moments with an important person for us on a basis of a scheduled task? It seems awkward to plan it, it is out of style, especially for femme-fatale like me, but even when sex is spontaneous, in every woman's head it is always planned. (wink!)
