The Hills stars Heidi and Spencer Pratt dropped by Ryan Seacrest’s Los Angeles radio show the morning of the show’s fourth season debut and jokingly said that she is “going to be Vice President.”

While fans wait until Monday night to watch all of the action at the 2008 Teen Choice Awards, Hollywood’s hottest celebs were on-hand for the taping of the annual awards show at the Gibson Amphitheater in Los Angeles on Sunday night, August 3.

No one, but Hannah Montana starlet Miley Cyrus played host at the 10th annual running of the event, which showered celebrities with dozens of surfboard trophies in film, TV, music, sports and fashion categories. She, herself, won in all of the three categories.

But there were other celebrities who showed up even if there were no chances for them to win.

Reality TV star Kim Kardashian keeps it simply chic shining in a silver Bradley Bayou strapless dress with matching metallic peep-toes.

She was nominated for two surfboards this year: Choice TV: Celebrity Reality and Choice TV: Female Reality/Variety Star. In the category of reality star, she went up against Dancing with the Stars’s Kristi Yamaguchi, America’s Next Top Model’s Whitney Thompson and The Hills stars Lauren Conrad and Heidi Montag.

Soccer stud David Beckham picked up the surfboard for Choice Male Athlete. He was accompanied by his wife Victoria to beat out golfer Tiger Woods, footballer Eli Manning and basketball star Kobe Bryant and LeBron James.

Stop-Loss actor Channing Tatum picked up a surfboard for Choice Movie Actor in a Drama. The 28-year-old actor beat out Into The Wild’s Emile Hirsch, Rendition’s Jake Gyllenhaal, We Own The Night’s Mark Wahlberg and Stop-Loss’s Ryan Phillippe.

Infantile Mariah Carey performed at the 2008 Teen Choice Awards in a very “interesting” outfit. I think it fuckin sucks.

Everyone is trying to sing nowadays. So, why wouldn’t Heidi Montag. She wants to be a celebrity so much and she has finally decided – pop star is what she wants to be.

I have never heard and watched anything worse than this video of hers, which was directed by ex-fiancé Spencer Pratt who is just the perfect match for a dummy like her. Heidiwood fashion line is launched at the Hollywood & Highland Center April 11. I just can’t wait to see it, really. According to Heidi, her designs will be fun and flirty for the everyday woman.

According to the rumors, Heidi even wanted to change the famous Hollywood sign to Heidiwood, but fortunately for all of us, she wasn’t allowed to. Well, we’ll see if this girl can actually become a new J Lo, but judging by her singing, she’s really unlikely to.

I hope she won’t say that after her fist fashion show she was crying all night long. On the other hand, Paris Hilton isn’t a very talented singer or whatever she is either, and she’s successfully launched her own fashion lines, maybe Heidi will follow in her footsteps. For decades, it has been an unattainable goal for many British pop stars to get number one in The Billboard Hit 100 chart. And here we go! Yesterday X Factor winner Leona Lewis became the first British female in over two decades to top the American charts, with her debut single Bleeding Love, according to Daily Mail.

Lewis, 22, confessed it was her dream to crack the US market, which is extremely lucrative but notoriously hard to crack. “I really don’t know what to say. I’m so overwhelmed right now. I’m getting to share my music with people around the world and it’s beyond my wildest dreams. From the bottom of my heart, thank you all so much. It’s because of you that I am able to do this,” the singer said on Oprah Winfrey show.

Her mentor Simon Cowell added: “I am incredibly proud of Leona, what she has achieved in the past year is simply amazing.” Cowell helped Leona win ITV1’s X Factor in 2006 after winning over the public with her extraordinary singing voice and sweet personality.

“All I want to do is my music and just hearing my single on the radio the other day brought a tear to my eye; I was so happy.” Leona confessed.

Just two British female solo artists before Leona have gone to number one with their debut single in America. Petula Clark was the first in 1965 with Downtown, and Sheena Easton’s Morning Train followed in 1981. I must confess I don’t remember these ladies. Time will show if Leona Lewis manages to hit big time in the States, you know, competition is really huge here. Good luck to you Leona! I just wonder what Heidi Montag thinks about all that.
