twilight-saga-new-moon-2010-razzie-awards

Yesterday, the day before Oscar nominees are announced, The Golden Raspberry Award Foundation announced their alternative list of the worst in movie business last year.

Traditionally, Golden Raspberry Awards are held the night before the Oscars to hand out golden raspberries to the worst actors, actresses, directors and movies. This year, the 30th Razzie Awards will be held on March 6th.

While I wasn’t surprised to see Transformers: Revenge of The Fallen on the Razzie list, I was amazed to know that Twilight Saga: New Moon has gained as much as four mons in such categories as worst screen couple, worst supporting actor, worst sequel and worst screenplay.

Do you agree, Twi-hards?

I heart the worst of the decade category. It’s simply awesome. Paris Hilton, Jennifer Lopez, , Lindsay Lohan and will compete to be named the worst actress of the decade.

Your thoughts, who should get the award?

shrek-forever-after-3d

Are you still excited about adventures of a green ogre and his expended family? Those of you who are still in love with the Disney characters must be super excited about the fourth and probably final part of the cartoon franchise, Shrek Forever After ,that comes out in May next year.

Those of you who are tired of the green monster, can just like it cause it’s 3D this time. At leats, that’s what I like about the movie.

In this fourth movie, Shrek turns into a domesticated family man. Instead of scaring villagers away like he used to, he now agrees to autograph pitch forks.

Longing for the days when he felt like a “real ogre,” Shrek is duped into signing a pact with Rumpelstiltskin. Shrek suddenly finds himself in a twisted, alternate version of Far Far Away, where ogres are hunted, Rumpelstiltskin is king and Shrek and Fiona have never met. Now, it’s up to Shrek to undo all he’s done in the hopes of saving his friends, restoring his world and reclaiming his one True Love.

The movie is directed by Mike Mitchell with Mike Myers, Cameron Diaz, , Kathy Griffin, Kristin Schaal and Jon Hamm from Mad Men lending their voices to the main characters.

Shrek Forever After in 3D hits movies on May 21, 2010.

Harrison Ford is the top earning Hollywood actor of 2008, according to Forbes

You may be surprised (I was) but according to Forbes‘ annual list of Hollywood’s Top-earning Actors, the best paid actor of 2008 was your favorite and apparently irreplaceable Indiana Jones, 66-year old Harrison Ford. The soon to be married actor earned $65 million for his part of Indiana in the fourth installment of the adventure series, Indiana Jones And The Kingdom Of The Crystal Skull.

According to Forbes, Ford had a share in the profit of the film that earned $786 million at the worldwide box office.

2. , $55m

Adam Sandler is the second top earning Hollywood actor of 2008, accordign to Forbes

Not bad for somebody who starred in such a critically smashed You Don’t Mess With The Zohan and more friendly welcomed Bedtime Stories. Besides these two movies of 2008 Adam is going to release his latest flick, Funny People, directed by his pal Judd Apatow.

29th Razzie Awards, 2009

We’ll all get glued to the screen on February 22, 2009 to enjoy the Oscars and find out who was the best in cinematography last year (I still strongly believe will get an Oscar for The Joker performance, though it’s not to the point right now).

By that day some of the actors would have already received their very special Oscars. I’d say anti-Oscars, meaning Golden Raspberry Awards 2009 that, following the tradition, will be held the day before the Oscars to honor the worst acting, screenwriting, songwriting, directing, and films that the film industry had to offer.

The list of nominees is pretty impressive, with some big names included, like Al Pacino for his performance in Righteous Kill, Meg Ryan for The Women and some others.

All-around talented is (of course) on the list too. Think she stands all chances to win. Well, maybe is the one who can rip the Razzie award out of her strong hands.

Although, I think neither of them will show up on the Razzie redcarpet to pick their plastic raspberry.

“Tinseltown’s leading ladies may generate more tabloid ink, but when it comes to blockbuster paychecks, Hollywood is still a man’s town,” writes Daily Telegraph.

Forbes has released their latest list for the highest-paid actor in Hollywood, and this year’s winner is Will Smith. Last year Will made $80 million beating Johnny Depp who made $74 million, and Eddie Murphy, who made $55 million.

The list is based on who banks the most between June 1st 2007 through June 1st 2008.

Will Smith, the black actor who rose from the ranks of rappers to become a Hollywood superstar, is now officially the top-earning star in Tinseltown. Have you seen Will’s latest movie Hancock? Check it out

Other guys who made the list are Will Ferrell, Bruce Willis, , Ben Stiller, and Adam Sandler. In the course of a single year, top 20 stars pulled down some $460 million combined.

  • Wings cut short, or sort of bdsm pleasure

  • You know I was just thinking about the things that make me vulnerable. Cause I personally hate this feeling, like being hanged in the air like being controlled from outside and unable to do my thing. Generally, who the hell was the first to come up with the idea of control? And the more important question, why do we need it? If I wanna do something I'll do it anyway and either way, and if I do it breaking some rules, escaping the CONTROL, then the feeling would just get better and the victory would just feel sweeter. So why do we need control and sort of submission it takes a long. What sort of bdsm pleasure is that supposed to give?

  • Stirring things up!

  • Did you ever provoke a fight with your guy? You love getting on his nerves because that makes him so obscure and funny – “cute” so we say. No, you’re not sadistic. Just the fact that after the make up, it feels so sweet to be the conqueror- to have the feeling of power! To feel the situation is under your control - to cause a fight and then to stop it. Isn’t it just so dramatically sweet to push the edges once in a while?

I love pushing his triggers. Some may think I’m an evil witch, but I’m simply making our relationship tempered, exciting, resolute, pert.

If you intentionally get into a fight with him – you are not sick in a head (and no, you’re not just a bitch). Scientists say that a healthy relationship is a relationship where there are arguments, and any argument needs a solution, right? That takes out our negative energy and brings us closer.

  • Breaking Rules

  • No matter how obvious it sounds most of the rules have been created long before us. By rules I mean systematized experience of previous generations, like handshakes and etiquette, and things like going for a social smoke. There is a rule that ladies go in first into any door except the elevator.

But rules are a need for the sense of stability around one. Society needs rules to forecast the effect of a cause, to have at least some confidence of the future. And this is what disappoints people. This is when they lose their confidence because things appear not the way they expected them to be. Those who were really dependent on expectations suffer from facing the world that is unpredictable, that the rules they believed in didn’t work at some turning point.

So they say that only fools learn through their own mistakes. Don’t you remember your mom telling you not to stick your tong out and put it against the metallic balcony railing when it’s freezing cold outside? Why did I skip my SPSS class with that macho from senior class? All of my friends were telling me he was a player and had nothing else in his head except for getting laid. Why do we learn things only after we go through them? This is what humans are like.

  • Sex Agenda

  • Inspired by “fuck” conversation last Saturday, which is a very delicate subject.

All of us, living in a fast growing temper of big cities are busy. We go to work, go to college full time, or have kids to take care of. There are plenty of things to do. When crazy week days are over we have yoga or tango classes, and shopping to do aside the chorus, french classes and getting a good sleep.

When is there time for sex?

The right answer would be - there is always time for sex. But the stress and busyness lead some couples to pencil their intimacy. It is logical, simple and hot to know that your schedule after works has a mark “Ryan 8 pm”. It is exciting to feel the anticipation, but on the other hand do we feel it is comfortable to set up our special moments with an important person for us on a basis of a scheduled task? It seems awkward to plan it, it is out of style, especially for femme-fatale like me, but even when sex is spontaneous, in every woman's head it is always planned. (wink!)
