I’m not a tiniest bit surprised, you?

Twilight Saga leads next year’s People’s Choice Awards nominations scoring six nods as the favorite movie, favorite franchise, fave on-screen team (Kristen Stewart, Robert Pattinson and Taylor Lautner), as well as favorite movie actress and actor for Stewart and Pattinson and breakout movie actor for Taylor, AP reported.

Twilight’s main competition in the number of nods is another vampire drama True Blood with three noms.

2010 People’s Choice Awards will be broadcast live on CBS from the Nokia Theatre on January 6, 2010. Queen Latifah will be the host for the second consecutive year.

Last night was the night of TV glam. The 61st Emmy Awards were held yesterday at the Nokia Theatre. The TV equivalent to the Oscars gathered together your fave TV actors and actresses as well as TV show hosts and just beautiful A-listers and socialites to celebrate the best shows, actors and directors this year.

Beautiful dresses, original designs, gorgeous silhouettes, so who was the hottest best dressed of the night?

Project Runway host Heidi Klum showed her beautiful pregnancy style in a custom-made black strapless lace gown with embroidered bodice by Marchesa. Her enormous baby bump was really hard to hide. The model is due this fall.

Jennifer Love Hewitt looked sexy in a canary yellow princess styled strapless gown, chandelier earrings and silver clutch. The light layered chiffon dress did make her look like a fairy tale character, loved it.

Hayden Panettiere was all retro glamorous in her off-the-shoulder red J.Mendel dress that she paired with Fred Leighton jewels, Judith Lieber purse, Bally gold platform pumps, and retro inspired make up. A real redcartpet tween queen!

I looooved Drew Barrymore’s pink tulle gown by Monique Lhuillier. She managed to create a kind of an ethereally beautiful look. What I liked about her style was the oversized pink clutch by Raven Kauffman that was designed specially for Drew after Kauffman watched her in Grey Gardens.

The Gossip Girl star Blake Lively was a real red queen of the event looking breathtaking in the scarlet Versace gown with a plunging neckline and sexy side slit. Good she didn’t try to overshadow her dress by her make up creating a pretty balanced head-to-toe glamorous image.

I praise Kim Kardashian at this year’s Emmys. Her one-shoulder body-hugging white gown is amazing. Ultimately elegant and hot.

Kim was accompanied by her pregnant sister Kourtney Kardashian who looked beautiful in a empire waist dark grey dress that hid her growing baby bump.

Best Supporting Comedy Actress winner Kristin Chenoweth looked gorgeous in a sparkling Zuhair Murad dress. I love Murad and his designs. Great Chenoworth picked him for Emmys.

Leighton Meester’s dress was one of the most original of the night. The white gown by Bottega Veneta was decorated with fancy shoulder knots that created quite a fabulous look. Amazing, amazing, amazing!

Grey’s Anatomy actress Sandra Oh chose a gold Marchesa dress for her fashion triumphant red carpet appearance. This dress was one of the best looks of this year’s ceremony. What I also love about it is the rope belt. Isn’t it cool?

Though the previously listed dressed are fantastic, this white gown is my # 1 pick. Olivia Wilde was catwalk mesmerizing in the Marchesa dress. Asymmetrical, one-shouldered gown with a bare back, full skirt and twisting swath of skin down the front looked unbelievably hot. Pure classic Hollywood glamour!

Drew Barrymore found a new way to express her feelings for co-star boyfriend Justin Long. Drew was spotted wearing a funky pair of heart-shaped sunglasses on set of her latest movie Going the Distance.

She looks adorable, doesn’t she?

Just a flow of thoughts after watching The Hangover. Did you like the movie, guys?

Hangover isn’t the very first and surely not the last movie dedicated to the wedding-is-a-disaster theme. It’s hard to count all the movies telling about crazy and wild bachelor parties in Las Vegas with some nasty consequences but still happy ever-after ends. It’s hard but I’ll try to give the top 5 of my personal wedding-as-a-disaster movie list.

5. Bachelor Party

This 1984 movie with young and slim Tom Hanks was one of the first movies about crazy bachelor parties. It was really crazy, 1984 crazy, I’d say.

The reason for a wedding disaster? Too much alcohol and Vegas.

4. The Wedding Singer

A film about stupid family names, singers with no musical ear, a cute old lady who makes tasty chops, and real love, of course. Adam Sandler and Drew Barrymore make a perfect movie couple, but Adam’s haircut is so not cool.

The reason for a wedding disaster? A guy named Glenn Gulia

3. My Best Friend’s Wedding

One of Cameron Diaz’ best roles ever (and the karaoke episode is still one of my favorites movie moments).

But generally, it’s such a fairy tale. No normal man could ever choose Cameron if he could choose Julia Roberts. Correct me, if I’m wrong.

The reason for a wedding disaster? Well, Julia Roberts and her nasty sabotaging plan.

2. Hangover

Best friends head to Vegas to have the wildest weekend of their life…. Waking up in Vegas is a dangerous and totally unpredictable thing as you can find a tiger in your bathroom, a baby by the door, and no groom around.

The reason for a wedding disaster? Well, Vegas.

1. Bride Wars

It’s a great example to prove there’s no friendship between girls, at least when it comes to their big day. Two friends turn into wicked enemies to have the wedding of their dream. But you know what? Things don’t always go your way.

The reason for a wedding disaster? The Plaza Hotel and stubbornness.

It’s a usual thing in Hollywood – a child star that shines brightly in a couple of movies then often disappears from the screen for good or at least for a pretty while, and we never know what happened to the young actor/actress, how they go on with their acting career.

So here are some child movie stars then and now, compare and enjoy!

Drew Barrymore is a vivid example of a talented and successful child star that managed to stay afloat though the years. She debuted in E.T. in 1982 (it’s still one of my favorite movies) playing Gertie, a little sister of the main character Elliot.

Not that it was all smooth and easy for Drew. She went to rehab in 13 to battle alcoholism, she managed to pull herself together and proved herself a talented actress in such movies as Grey Gardens, 50 First Dates, Mysic and Lyrics, Duplex and others.

Talking about Elliot. Henry Thomas was enchanting in E.T. His award-winning debut helped him make his way in showbiz and remain an actor in demand (Gangs of New York with Leonardo DiCaprio, I’m With Lucy, 11:14 and others).

He started his career working with Tom Hanks in Forrest Gump and was nominated for Oscar for Best Supporting Actor at the age of 11 for The Sixth Sense. Haley Joel Osment’s still in the game despite problems with drugs, alcohol and consequent driving under influence.

I simply adored this little blonde boy with a cute haircut and glasses. He was unforgettable in 1996’s Jerry Maguire where he costarred with Tom Cruise and Renee Zellweger. Well, the glasses and the haircut are gone, but Jonathan Lipnicki, now 18, keeps on working in the movie industry (Stuart Little 1,2, The L.A. Riot Spectacular, The Other Side Of Innocence)

She’s a style icon, a successful entrepreneur, a singer and an actress. Hilary Duff, 21, kicked off her career with Disney in Casper And Wendy, then she starred as Lizzy McGuire in the TV series and movie of the same name. Hilary Duff is probably a good example of perfect marriage between optimal management and business talent.

Well, maybe when it comes to running a business, Hilary can be beaten by the Olsen twins. Mary-Kate Olsen and Ashley Olsen, 22, had their movie debut when they didn’t really understand what they were doing, they were 9 months old after all. Anyways, these girls knew how to use fame and invest money. They created their production studio at the age of 9 and soon added fashion designing to their busy schedule.

Now they’re choosing their own paths. While Ashley is focusing entirely on her designer career, Mary-Kate is going to pursue her career in acting. Will they make it on their own this time? Time will show.

Remember Curly Sue? Alisan Porter was adorable, wasn’t she? The multi-talented girl, now 27, first made several successful steps in acting and then focused all her attention on music career. She created her music project, The Alisan Porter Project, then took part in Broadway plays (Footloose), now you can read her column in Movnmt Magazine.

That’s what I call irreconcilable differences.

Maybe that was the first sign of her soon-to-happen highly publicized downwards spiral?

Britney Spears married her childhood friend Jason Alexander after spending a wild night in Las Vegas with their friends. They married at night in The Little White Wedding Chapel with Britney wearing ripped jeans, a black skimpy top and a white cap.

The marriage only lasted 55 hours and then was annulled with the statement claiming the pop princess “lacked understanding of her actions.”

As to Jason, it was his 15 minutes of fame.

Yeah, we all have bad days sometimes. It gets to be even more difficult when you’re a girl, as you can have a bad hair day, a bad style day, or a hairy armpits day. December 1 was Beyoncé Knowles’ day of joining hairy armpits hall of shame.

The singer-actress premiered her latest film Cadillac Records in New York City on Monday visiting the event accompanied by her mogul hubby Jay-Z and designer mother Tina. Beyoncé was looking really gorgeous in her black beaded curve hugging dress by Zuhair Murad but her unshaven underarms totally ruined her style goddess image.

Yuk.

So, by making this fashion faux pas Beyoncé entered the infamous hairy armpits hall of shame joining such stars as Julia Roberts, Gillian Anderson, Drew Barrymore, Fergie and others.
