Jessica Alba really wants you to vote as she plays the host of a faux home-shopping cable channel, hawking “The Muzzler 2008,” a Hannibal Lecter-like restraint mask that symbolizes failing to exercise the right to vote.

For this faux-infomercial, the 27-year-old actress enlisted the help of Heroes starlet Hayden Panettiere and 90210 star Tristan Wilds.

The girls comically wear the mask, attempting to talk and eat with it on.

While that Christina Aguilera appears with her mouth sewn together and tears streaming down her face.

Voting is sexy!

On Thursday Christina Aguilera stepped out for the Rock the Vote event at the Esquire House in Beverly Hills. Christina is a Rock the Vote spokesperson, is also celebrating a decade in the music business with a greatest hits CD for Target, Keeps Gettin’ Better – A Decade of Hits, due out November, 11.

Christina said she’s hard at work on her next album, which she expects to release next year, which will feature the futuristic sound of ‘Keeps Gettin’ Better’:

[It] definitely has touches of that, elements of that. But [we] go further with that. That was a taste of what’s to come.”

27 year old singer also says she feels sexier than ever in her decade of fame.

Her secret: Wisdom.

I think it is sexier to be more knowledgeable about life, growing from your experiences, growing into a woman or person – if you do learn from your lessons, that is.”

MTV Video Music Awards will rock LA this weekend. The show’s most intriguing moments have been kept in secret for so long causing a huge tide of all kinds of speculation to appear. There’ve been lots of rumors about the show and performers to hit it, but now we all can take a deep breath and relax. Russell Brand, host of the Sunday show, held a news conference on Thursday revealing some of the hottest VMA 2008 secrets.

Now we know for sure that Britney Spears will open the show though it was just some time ago that all reports claimed she wouldn’t. It was just to create the buzz, definitely. It’s Britney’s chance to rehabilitate her image after her last year’s VMA disastrous performance.

Hope she’ll do everything right this time. “MTV has long played an important role in my career. How can I not be there to kick off their 25th VMAs?” Britney said Thursday.

We know who will open the show and we also know who will close it. It’s Kanye West. And his performance is really something we could never expect to happen. The thing is that he was really upset at last year’s VMA for being shut out of all five categories, in which he was nominated, that he was quoted as saying he would “never return to MTV.” Never say never.

Moreover, this show will debut Christina Aguilera’s new single ‘Keeps Getting Better,’ which is also the name of her best-of album, due this November.

“You’re going to get a first listen at my new sound. The last album, the style and sound was about vintage glam – this one is all about the future,” Aguilera told reporters.

T.I. will also debut a new song with Rihanna.

The Jonas Brothers are also to perform, according to Brand, who called them “God’s favorite virgins.” It’s probable that young country star Taylor Swift will introduce the band. That’s “a decision made from below their [the Jonas Brothers’] sexy little waists,” Brad noted.

And one more thing. ‘I kissed a girl’ singer Katy Perry will hit the show to perform… ‘Like a virgin’ for you guys. “There’s a lot of virginity and lesbianism going on at the show,” Russell joked during the press conference.

So it’s gonna be the 25th annual awards telecast, so make sure you don’t have any major plans for Sunday night. You just can’t miss it!

When saying Donald Trump, I’m thinking…. luxury and waterfalls of champagne.

Mr. Trump and Sultan Ahmed bin Sulayem threw an exclusive party to launch the Trump International Hotel & Tower Dubai in Beverly Hills on Saturday.

The party was designed to tell the world about the 62-story, stainless steel and glass luxury hotel residence which will be tallest structure on Palm Jumeirah when completed in summer 2011, according to the source.

Pete Wentz was the DJ at the party, while Christina Aguilera pleased the real estate mogul and his guests with her live performance.

Such A-list celebs like Orlando Bloom, Lucy Liu, Hilary Swank, Hayden Panettiere and Ali Larter from Heroes, Kate Walsh, and of course, Ivanka Trump were among the guests at the launch party.

T-shirt Britney Spears wore during an appearance of the Mickey Mouse Club as a child is expected to fetch $20,000 at an auction.

‘I love you grandma’ says the garment that was scrawled by Britney. Moreover it features signatures of her co-stars Justin Timberlake and Christina Aguilera.

In total there are 7 items of Britney’s wardrobe to be sold out to the public at the online auction Gotta Have It! owned by Ed Kosinski, who says:

Something like that has never come up for auction before. We expect it to go for between $15,000 and $20,000.”

Tri Star Sports and Entertainment group provided costumes from Britney’s ‘Drive Me Crazy’ and ‘Oops, I Did it Again’ tours, a blue and white Santa dress she wore in a Christmas Pepsi ad in 2000, and the orange coat and trousers she wore to the Billboard Music Awards earlier that year.

And of course, some of the proceeds will go to charity.

GLAMOUR: Despite your tough childhood, you grew up into a solid person. What do you think when you see people in your industry, like Amy Winehouse, self-destruct?

CA:

I’m not a judgmental person, so I can’t comment on someone else’s background. [As for me], I think I’ve always had a strong sense of self. My mom brought me up to believe that my talent is a gift and a blessing. But I have definitely made some mistakes that I would never do again.”

GLAMOUR: Like what?

CA: When I was 21 and made Stripped, I was pretty distraught about some personal issues coming up from my past. I was going out and partying a lot–as people do at that age–and did some very unhealthy things to deal with the pain. But I was able to say, “OK, hold on.”

GLAMOUR: But for some reason, you weren’t caught on camera doing it.

CA: Thank God! [Laughs.]

GLAMOUR: You probably couldn’t have gotten away with that now.

CA: I don’t think so. [It wasn't until] the wave of reality TV that [our culture's] obsession with celebrity got so crazy. I think a lot of people thrive on that stuff.

GLAMOUR: So how do you manage nowadays to avoid paparazzi?

CA: A lot of people go out of their way [to be photographed]; I make a conscious effort to keep me and my family out of the limelight. The other day a paparazzo actually pulled up to my husband on the street and said, “Geez, I know the new house is big, but I’ve been trying to get a picture of you for months–you never leave the house!” And it’s true: I’ll go out at night after spending time with my son, but [during the day] I just hang out on my grounds, taking him for walks in the stroller in the backyard where we won’t be seen.

GLAMOUR: Has having a child changed your relationship with your own mother?

CA: It’s given me a deeper understanding of the things she went through. She had a difficult childhood, and I think she wanted to make sure [I didn't go through that]–[yet] she ended up marrying an abuser. My mom was so giving, almost too much, that she almost forgot about herself many times. So I’m careful to make time for myself. Rather than change who I am for Max, I bring the life lessons I’ve learned to the table.

GLAMOUR: How has your relationship with Jordan changed since the baby?

CA: It’s brought us closer–we’re bonded together for life. Relationships and great marriages are a whole learning and growing process. We’re just great teammates.

GLAMOUR: So, how do you guys keep things sexy these days?

CA: We make sure we have Mommy and Daddy nights out. Our child comes first, obviously, but there are certain things you can do: Once we know he’s in good hands, we go out late at night and have a few drinks. Then we’ll come home, dim the lights and do our thing–and I’m not going into any more detail than that!

If you wear red lipstick never put too much of other make up like eye shadows. Just mascara and a tone would do fantastic. Otherwise you will end up looking like Anne Hathaway who put too much white shadow on the inside corner of her eyes.

It gets to be really popular to have children in Hollywood. Seems like every female star is or going to be pregnant soon. Some stars are only expecting, some have already given birth to their offspring lately. So who are these lucky mommies and daddies 2008?
Christina Aguilera gave birth to her son Max Liron on January, 11 this year, along with Nicole Richie who welcomed her daughter Harlow Winter Kate just on the same day too.

J.Lo and Marc Anthony became happy parents of twins Max and Emme on February, 22. Former Sabrina the Teenage Witch star Melissa Joan Hart and her husband Mark Wilkerson welcomed their second son on March, 12. Actress Halle Berry and her boyfriend Gabriel Aubry welcomed their first daughter on March, 16. And there are a lot more stars expecting their babies this year. Oscar-winner Cate Blanchett is expecting her third child in April. Fantastic Four star Jessica Alba and her boyfriend Cash Warren will be expecting their first baby in early summer. She is reportedly pregnant with twins.

Former Hairspray star and current Dancing with the Stars contestant Marissa Jaret Winokur is expecting her first child too. According to the star, a surrogate mother is 5 months along with her baby. Another celebrity to join stars is Mini Driver who’ll be expecting her first child in August this year. Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt are said to be expecting twins, a boy and a girl this summer. These will be their second and third biological children. Jolie and Pitt also have three adopted children Maddox, Zahara, and Pax-Thien. Their first biological child, daughter Shiloh, was born in May, 2006.

Sweet-voiced singer Gwen Stefani and her husband are expecting their second child early this summer to join their son Kingston who was born May, 2006. Tori Spelling and Dean McDermott are having a girl in early June. Dean and Tori’s first child, Liam Aaron, just turned 1. Britney Spears’ younger sister Jamie Lynn, 16, and is also pregnant with her first child by her boyfriend Casey Aldridge. Oops, they did it again!

So, is there anybody else on the list? Time will show. For now, seems like diapers will be Hollywood’s must-have this year.
