Last year I included Leighton Meester into my list of best dressed ladies at Teen Choice Awards, and though I’d be happy to do the same thing again this year, there’s no way I can forgive Leighton for her style at 2010 TCA, sorry Leighton.

Style and fashion: Leighton Meester at 2010 Teen Choice Awards

Gossip Girl star and winner in the Choice TV Actress: Drama category, Leighton Meester, opted for an extremely short lace Emilio Pucci dress and granny-style Christian Louboutin shoes.

The shoes kill the look completely. I don’t know about you, but to me they look like old-fashioned slippers my granny would wear like half a century ago.

Style and fashion: Megan Fox at 2010 Teen Choice Awards

Newly married has definitely lost fashion sense along with her single woman status. The white-and-blue patterned top paired with a strange shining silver skirt looked a far cry from what could be called elegant and glam.

However, Megan was a big winner at 2010 Teen Choice Awards taking home two surfboards, including one in such a prestigious category as Choice Female Hottie.

Stars of 'Sex And The City 2' have $10 million designer wardrobe

OMG! They could feed two third world countries instead of getting all that expensive designer stuff to dress up in Sex And The City 2 (out this week).

According to British sources, each lead SATC 2 star has an impressive wardrobe consisting of things from top notch designer brands to wear in the movie. Furthermore, the girls even got to keep the clothes that are worth $10 million!

The movie’s stylist Patricia Field says that the wardrobe includes Chanel dress and overskirt ($49,000) and studded jeans ($4,000) worn by Carrie during a karaoke scene, as well as a $1,400 Roland Mouret Brise Noire dress worn by Miranda, and Samantha’s $5,000 red dress with spiked epaulettes designed by The Blonds.

You can also add Carrie’s $1,000 gold Pigalle Christian Louboutins for SATC 2 poster and five Halston Heritage outfits.

Louboutin is the lead shoe designer of the sequel replacing Manolo Blahniks favored by the cast in the first movie and during the show (remember Carrie Bradshaw’s blue satin pumps?).

If people talk to me about Sex And City, I get sick… I have never wanted to be a celebrity designer,” Blahnik said in his recent interview though adding that “stupid satin shoe” saved his company due to its incredibly popularity with customers.

I understand that SATC 2 must be uber fashionable, glamorous and stuff, but spending $10 million on the wardrobe of four actresses, I think it’s a way to much. Do you agree?

The 45th Annual Academy of Country Music Awards were held yesterday, April 18th.

One of the largest and most prestigious music ceremonies brought some big country music names on the orange redcarpet at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada.

And just like at any other glamorous event, there were certain fashion hits and misses presented. I’ll try to be my good-girl self now and pick the six looks from the red carpet that I definitely loved.

Taylor Swift at 2010 ACM Awards

My #1 pick is . Tay went home empty-handed but still was all so pretty and girlie in wisteria Marchesa chiffon embroidered draped gown and Christian Louboutin shoes.

The dress is awesome!

Carrie Underwood at 2010 Academy of Coutry Music (ACM) Awards

Big winner of the night Carrie Underwood opted for her favorite LWD. The creme colored one-shoulder gown was decorated with stones and looked a bit of a pompadour but still pretty lovely.

A-list guests flocked to celebrate the world premiere of long awaited Sherlock Holmes by Guy Richie starring Robert Downey Jr. as Holmes and Jude Law as his pal Dr. John Watson.

Stars struggled with rainy and windy weather on the way to the redcarpet but still, the smog, the weather, and the old-fashioned lamps created the right kind of atmosphere for the London premiere on Monday.

2009 Teen Choice Awards were held at the Gibson Amphitheatre last night with your fave celebs show up to glam the green carpet of the ceremony.

There were obvious fashion hits and misses presented, but here are ten celebs who were definitely best dressed at this year’s TCAs.

I loved Leighton Meester’s look. She was fabulous in a Louis Vuitton dress, Brian Atwood “Zenith” Mary Janes, Cathy Waterman jewels and a Nina Ricci clutch.

The stripy dress looked flirty and sexy stressing her toned body and long legs. Loved it.

Hot Heidi Klum hosted LG Rumorous Night

Thank butterfly design for this post.

LG Rumorous Night was held in West Hollywood on Tuesday with some big names turn up on the red carpet to pose on the beautiful butterflies-studded redcarpet.

The event was hosted by pregnant Victoria’s Secret model Heidi Klum who has recently teamed up with LG to design new skins for the Rumor2 mobile phone. Expecting mother-of-three looked gorgeous in the flirty one-shoulder black dress and strappy sandals.

Must say most of the celebs attending the glam event chose mini dresses as the perfect ones for the occasion. What I also loved about the looks is that there were a lot of bright colors adding with spring vibe to the celebration.

  • The truth is still out there?

  • I know you probably wonder why I’m posting this as it has nothing to do with celebs, glam events, glitzy lifestyle and all this Hollywood stuff that I typically bitch about. An article caught my attention and I thought to myself, damn, the truth is still out there.

  • Wings cut short, or sort of bdsm pleasure

  • You know I was just thinking about the things that make me vulnerable. Cause I personally hate this feeling, like being hanged in the air like being controlled from outside and unable to do my thing. Generally, who the hell was the first to come up with the idea of control? And the more important question, why do we need it? If I wanna do something I'll do it anyway and either way, and if I do it breaking some rules, escaping the CONTROL, then the feeling would just get better and the victory would just feel sweeter. So why do we need control and sort of submission it takes a long. What sort of bdsm pleasure is that supposed to give?

  • Stirring things up!

  • Did you ever provoke a fight with your guy? You love getting on his nerves because that makes him so obscure and funny – “cute” so we say. No, you’re not sadistic. Just the fact that after the make up, it feels so sweet to be the conqueror- to have the feeling of power! To feel the situation is under your control - to cause a fight and then to stop it. Isn’t it just so dramatically sweet to push the edges once in a while?

I love pushing his triggers. Some may think I’m an evil witch, but I’m simply making our relationship tempered, exciting, resolute, pert.

If you intentionally get into a fight with him – you are not sick in a head (and no, you’re not just a bitch). Scientists say that a healthy relationship is a relationship where there are arguments, and any argument needs a solution, right? That takes out our negative energy and brings us closer.

  • A Good bye to Ruslana

  • Prologue

Once upon a time there was a little girl who was just like a real princess, but no one knew that she was a princess. She grew up and became a very successful model. She lived up on the Manhattan tower and had almost a prince like boyfriend. One day she got tired of others not seeing that princess inside her. Ruslana Korshunova killed herself. She jumped off that high evil tower.

  • Breaking Rules

  • No matter how obvious it sounds most of the rules have been created long before us. By rules I mean systematized experience of previous generations, like handshakes and etiquette, and things like going for a social smoke. There is a rule that ladies go in first into any door except the elevator.

But rules are a need for the sense of stability around one. Society needs rules to forecast the effect of a cause, to have at least some confidence of the future. And this is what disappoints people. This is when they lose their confidence because things appear not the way they expected them to be. Those who were really dependent on expectations suffer from facing the world that is unpredictable, that the rules they believed in didn’t work at some turning point.

So they say that only fools learn through their own mistakes. Don’t you remember your mom telling you not to stick your tong out and put it against the metallic balcony railing when it’s freezing cold outside? Why did I skip my SPSS class with that macho from senior class? All of my friends were telling me he was a player and had nothing else in his head except for getting laid. Why do we learn things only after we go through them? This is what humans are like.

  • Be what You want to Be

  • What do you call it when you feel something against your will? When the call of that something inside you starts ripping your self - esteem in pieces while your consciousness tells you to stop.

I never had it when I was a child.

I always felt what I wanted and I always wanted that what I felt.

Being used to getting what I want I am stuck. Stuck in the position like being lost in the desert. There’s nowhere to go. I can’t deny what I feel but I also can’t afford to feel it. It’s against my beliefs and values. Hum… fuck the beliefs. I don’t care.

No more. The human mind is such control-freak. It kills me. And if I continue it will sound like a confession to you and this is the least I want to do.

  • Sex Agenda

  • Inspired by “fuck” conversation last Saturday, which is a very delicate subject.

All of us, living in a fast growing temper of big cities are busy. We go to work, go to college full time, or have kids to take care of. There are plenty of things to do. When crazy week days are over we have yoga or tango classes, and shopping to do aside the chorus, french classes and getting a good sleep.

When is there time for sex?

The right answer would be - there is always time for sex. But the stress and busyness lead some couples to pencil their intimacy. It is logical, simple and hot to know that your schedule after works has a mark “Ryan 8 pm”. It is exciting to feel the anticipation, but on the other hand do we feel it is comfortable to set up our special moments with an important person for us on a basis of a scheduled task? It seems awkward to plan it, it is out of style, especially for femme-fatale like me, but even when sex is spontaneous, in every woman's head it is always planned. (wink!)

I thought that was stupid but hilarious and sent it to another friend of mine. He didn’t reply and I totally forgot about it. Well, I had to call him up for some business this morning and as he answered the phone he told me he was robbed last night.
