Instead of going to Teen Choice Awards, where Chris won a number of surf boards, Rihanna and Chris Brown decided to have a little quality time with one another. Yes, these photos prove there is flirt, there is something more than friendship and there is something touchy.

The two were spotted in a hot tub of their hotel on Sunday afternoon. They were getting cozy, sipping refreshing drinks and going throw some lyrics.

Rihanna helped Chris out with his complexion woes by popping a zit for him.

Later on, Chris decided to go to the Teen Choice Awards, while Rihanna stayed in a hotel.

During the course of the night, the ‘With You’ singer snatched up four surfboards - winning for Choice Hook-Up (for his duet with Jordin Sparks on ‘No Air’), Music Male Artist, Music R&B Artist and Music R&B Track.

While fans wait until Monday night to watch all of the action at the 2008 Teen Choice Awards, Hollywood’s hottest celebs were on-hand for the taping of the annual awards show at the Gibson Amphitheater in Los Angeles on Sunday night, August 3.

No one, but Hannah Montana starlet Miley Cyrus played host at the 10th annual running of the event, which showered celebrities with dozens of surfboard trophies in film, TV, music, sports and fashion categories. She, herself, won in all of the three categories.

Whereas other award shows dole out conventional trophies, the Teen Choice Awards hand out surfboards. The perennial Teen Choice champion Justin Timberlake - who has won 21 surfboards (more than anyone else) over the years - has managed to snag three more nods this year, didn’t show up.

But there were other celebrities who showed up even if there were no chances for them to win.

Reality TV star Kim Kardashian keeps it simply chic shining in a silver Bradley Bayou strapless dress with matching metallic peep-toes.

She was nominated for two surfboards this year: Choice TV: Celebrity Reality and Choice TV: Female Reality/Variety Star. In the category of reality star, she went up against Dancing with the Stars’s Kristi Yamaguchi, America’s Next Top Model’s Whitney Thompson and The Hills stars Lauren Conrad and Heidi Montag.

Soccer stud David Beckham picked up the surfboard for Choice Male Athlete. He was accompanied by his wife Victoria to beat out golfer Tiger Woods, footballer Eli Manning and basketball star Kobe Bryant and LeBron James.

Stop-Loss actor Channing Tatum picked up a surfboard for Choice Movie Actor in a Drama. The 28-year-old actor beat out Into The Wild’s Emile Hirsch, Rendition’s Jake Gyllenhaal, We Own The Night’s Mark Wahlberg and Stop-Loss’s Ryan Phillippe.

Infantile Mariah Carey performed at the 2008 Teen Choice Awards in a very “interesting” outfit. I think it fuckin sucks.

It’s time for a hat-off between Justin Timberlake and Ashton Kutcher.

And here comes the good news for Britney. Though losing custody battle to get her children back, she stands all chances to win the Moon Man at this year’s MTV Video Music Awards on September, 7 as she’s one of the nominees for Best Female Music Video for ‘Piece of Me.’

It will be a hot battle as Spears will have to compete against Katy Perry for ‘I Kissed a Girl,’ Rihanna for ‘Take a Bow,’ Mariah Carey for ‘Touch My Body’ and Jordin Sparks for ‘No Air’ to get the statuette.

Britney’s vid was chose via on-line voting at vma.mtv.com. This is the 15th nomination for the VMA award in her career. Last month it was reported Britney could be also invited to perform at the show.

The MNT VMA show will be hosted by British comedian Russell Brand, and air live from LA.

The nominees for Best Male Music Video are T.I. for ‘What You Know,’ Usher for ‘Love in the Club,’ Lil Wayne for ‘Lollipop,’ Chris Brown for ‘With You’ and Flo-Rida for ‘Low.’

There’s another almost-under-aged so-called star I think of. Lindsay Lohan. But on the other hand… don’t think some of her outfits have anything to do with style.

Chris Brown has thrown in-style party at the club MAYA in one of the hottest spots in London. Rihanna was there, she kept it relaxed and not as active as Chris. Though, to the remix of Rihanna’s Umbrella vs Brown’s “you could be my Cinderella –ella –ella…” two supposedly just-friends danced together. They kept themselves on a fair distance knowing how to avoid unnecessary possible gossip, so there was no “kiss-kiss”. Actually, those two would make a sweet couple, don’t you think?
