Agyness Deyn is the face of Anna Sui's haircare line for Fall/Winter 2009

Fashion designer Anna Sui presents something brand new for the coming season.

The designer has presented her haircare line for Fall/Winter 2009.

As to me, the best part of the news is that the ad campaign is covered by and she looks mesmerizing in the photo!

Agyness’ smooth (alas, photoshoped) skin, great make up and funky hair do paired with appropriate accessories and clothes create an ultimately chic and elegant look with certain retro vibe. Just loving it. You?

Anna Sui’s F/W 2009 designer haircare line was created in Japan and tested backstage of her catwalk shows, she said adding that the producs proved efficient.

The line includes the shampoo, conditioner and repairing oil treatment.

What I like about the bottles is that they contains Sui’s trademark rose design and, obviously, the haircare products have the signature rosewater scent.

What do you think about Deyn’s ad photo?

Agyness Deyn is an inspiration for Australian cosmetic brand, Bloom

She’s blonde, ambitious, original and British. Super model has never really tried to look or act conventionally, and that’s what we love about her.

Australian cosmetic brand, Bloom, was inspired by the model’s image and created a nail polish in her name.

Bloom limited edition Agyness “Industrial grey” is available online for about $15. Concrete grey, British weather gloomy and moody matte nail polish looks great yet unusual. I definitely feel the punk vibe and rebellious mood, you?

Loving the color.

Gwyneth Paltrow and Valentino posed together at Valentino: The Last Emperor movie show in NY

is too big a fashion icon not to make a movie about.

It goes without saying some of your favorite A-listers could not miss such a glam event to flaunt more of dresses.

Gwyneth Paltrow was posing hand in hand with the maestro in a black strapless dress. I love the dress, and I actually like the way Gwyneth looks but there’s definitely something wrong with ’s fake tan, don’t you think?

Atlantis Palm Jumeirah hotel grand opening November 20, 2008

Global financial crisis? Forget about it! Lavish party is the best ad for any business affair. Especially when it’s a new $1.5 billion marine-themed resort built off the Gulf coast on a man-made island shaped like a palm tree. Especially when you get all the A-listers to come and party with you.

When you consider $20 million, it’s a lot of money (until) you consider it up against establishing a $1.5 billion resort,” Sol Kerzner, the chairman of Kerzner International, which owns the Atlantis hotel said, AP reported.

Agyness Deyn with her peroxide crop is this summer’s must-have haircut. Young British model was the face of the Burberry last season. But as it unveiled today for this new coming season the brand has chosen newcomer Rosie Huntington-Whiteley to front its autumn-winter campaign.

Deyn will continue as the face of Burberry’s perfume, The Beat.

The black-and-white images were shot in Kensington Gardens by Mario Testino, and featured Burberry’s latest must-have – the Lowry bag.

Christopher Bailey, creative director of Burberry, said:

The campaign is nostalgic, returning to our signature black and white and capturing the poetic melancholy and romance of the winter collections which were inspired by LS Lowry. Menswear is reinforced with an actor I admire enormously, Sam Riley, playing one half of the ‘Burberry couple’ alongside the fresh-faced British beauty that is Rosie Huntington-Whiteley.”

Success will be all the sweeter for Huntington-Whiteley, 21, because she has made no bones about her dislike of Deyn in the past. Who cares. Even if Rosie was to replace Deyn, still Agyness is our favorite. She is currently releasing a single with the band Five O’Clock Heroes.

Click to watch the official video of the song ‘Who’. It is one of my most recent favorites and Agyness’s got the voice!

Both on and offstage at the T4 On The Beach bash, the Lancashire lovely caused a stir as well, by arriving with her new boyfriend, The Strokes guitarist Albert Hammond Jr. The couple went public last month at the Songwriter Hall Of Fame Awards in New York.

Bailey speaking of Deyn:

Agyness is a huge part of the Burberry family and a personal friend. We’ve worked with Agyness for several years now and I am thrilled that she will continue to star in our new fragrance campaign ‘ Burberry The Beat’ this year.”

Click to watch The Beat commercial

By the way, what I found quite interesting is that Deyn’s real name is Laura Hollins, and she formerly worked behind the counter in a fish & chip shop.

The girl is one of a few outstanding world class models that had not been ousted by the fashion firm.

This year’s works of Stephane Rolland have really surprised the fashion industry in the best way possible. Firstly, his Summer 2008 is amazing in shiny sparkling fabrics. He’s got it all:

Elegance

Boldness

One – shoulder strap

Being relatively young designer in high fashion, Stephane Rolland has made his statement at the 2008 Paris Haute Couture Fashion Week by presenting his Fall Winter 2008 – 2009 collection.

It is this young designer who is truly the future of fashion, as an increasing number of clients are looking for fresh styles and modern ideas to bring life back into the historically appreciated art of Haute Couture. Stephane is more up to date and the way he modernizes details makes me feel the new spirit.

Unfortunately, not everyone understands the definition of Haute Couture, or high fashion. Here is a brief one for you.

Haute couture is a “protected name” that can be used only by brands that meet certain well-defined standards. The term is also used loosely to describe all high-fashion custom-fitted clothing, whether produced in Paris or in other fashion capitals such as Milan, London, Rome, New York and Tokyo. Haute couture is made to order for a specific customer, and it is usually made from high-quality, fancy fabric and sewn with extreme attention to detail and finish, often using time-consuming, hand-executed techniques.

Creations by French designer Stephane Rolland were unveiled during his Spring/Summer 2008 Haute Couture collection show in Paris on June 30.

The collection was a total blast compare to some high names. Not many fashion houses can say with pride that they are the leading force for the more contemporary young client. Unfortunately, most of Haute Couture doesn’t win hearts, it only gets appreciated as pieces of art, but Rolland’s work is that I would love to wear.

Moreover, we’re talking about the collection with new identity. I can see celebrities like or wearing Stephane Ronaldo’s clothes.

“Repensar, reciclar, renovar” is the slogan of the 13th Rio Fashion Week. This year, the event is focused on renovation and recycling processes, which are indispensable both for the planet safeguard and the fashion industry.

Among the prestigious 40 showcases by Brazilian designers there is exciting 2009 swimwear show from Lenny.

Again, there is the trendy one-shoulder-stripe one-piece swimsuit just like the 2008 Gucci one. It is fantastic in cherry red and even better in metallic dark blue. Being a full piece in the front it reveals the graceful back.

High street fashion is the direction the world is going for in 2009. I can see Agyness Deyn wearing Lenny. If you’re an indigo party girl this is a collection you can be heading for, though some pieces of the collection have the more natural safari look to it.

The summer is ought to be hot: go for high street fashion or safari. My suggestion is that roundy busty girls go for safari and skinny long legged beauties do high street. You decide.

Mixing must be on edge. Extended elongated bracelets are excellent addition to any swim suit.

Jolie has been the brand’s face since 2006. Deyn is due to join the campaign this fall for Fall 2008 Maquillage launch.

The Wanted star was also dropped by fashion house St. John last month after her three-year contract with the company, according to the source.

Guess Jolie is not really disappointed. She’s gonna be really busy soon changing diapers for her twins.

David Furnish and Sir Elton

Another star-studded party was held by Sir Elton John yesterday in his Windsor home. Hardly had celebs said good bye to Nelson Mandela in Hyde Park as they were invited to Elton John’s 10-th Annual White Tie & Tiara Ball raising money for the Elton John AIDS Foundation.

Elton John, David Furnish, Bill Clinton

The Ball is an annual event hosted by Elton John and David Furnish and one of the premier fundraising events of the UK. This year the ball marks its 10th anniversary and the 15th anniversary of the Elton John AIDS Foundation in the United Kingdom. This year’s sponsors include Chopard and OK! Magazine. The Ball has already raised more than £26.9 million (over $53m) since the first event in 1998.

Chris Tucker at white tie

The event is famous for its wealth of A list celebrities attracted. This year’s list included former U.S. president Bill Clinton, Sir Michael Caine, and Jada Pinkett Smith, Elizabeth Hurley with husband Arun Nayar, The O.C. star Mischa Barton, Kelly Osbourne, Rob Steward with his family, model-of-the-moment , Chris Tucker, American Idol judge Simon Cowell, Natalie Imbruglia, and many others.

Aguness Deyn

Guests looked gorgeous. Jada Pinkett Smith was wearing a tight black gown with a very long train making her look just amazing against her really stylish hubby.

Will Smith, Jada Pinkett Smith

As for Liz Hurley she chose a stunning aquamarine strapless gown and a diamond tiara to make her look like a real princess (or a queen?).

Liz Hurley

Mischa Barton was wearing a lemon green dress with a black lacy inset and embroidered headband making her look flirty and girly. I liked the headband, not the dress.

Misha Barton

Mischa wasn’t along to pick a headband. Model Elle MacPherson dazzled in a gold evening look, beaded gold headband and vintage embroidered shawl that made her look hippy but really glam.

Elle MacPherson

was wearing a very lovely Gracian-style white gown with a yellow-brown chain ornament. Cute.

Eva Herzigova

Naomi Campbell showed up too.

Chris Tucker and Naomi Campbell

Generally, every year the party has a theme. “The theme this year is ‘beach party’,” says Elton’s longtime partner David Furnish. “So, we’ve got Brian Wilson of the Beach Boys playing. The aim every year is to get people to say it was the best one yet. It’s still a party in your home and Elton and I like to shake everybody’s hand personally. There is no us and them.”

Rob Steward with family

Though it was a beach party, most celebs preferred more classical glam style. I personally liked Natalie Imbruglia’s black dress that stressed her slender body really well.

Natalia Imbruglia

Elton John and David Furnish invited 620 guests who had to pay $6000 a ticket to raise even more money than last year though last year they raised $12 m at the Las Vegas party.

  • You know I was just thinking about the things that make me vulnerable. Cause I personally hate this feeling, like being hanged in the air like being controlled from outside and unable to do my thing. Generally, who the hell was the first to come up with the idea of control? And the more important question, why do we need it? If I wanna do something I'll do it anyway and either way, and if I do it breaking some rules, escaping the CONTROL, then the feeling would just get better and the victory would just feel sweeter. So why do we need control and sort of submission it takes a long. What sort of bdsm pleasure is that supposed to give?

  • Stirring things up!

  • Did you ever provoke a fight with your guy? You love getting on his nerves because that makes him so obscure and funny – “cute” so we say. No, you’re not sadistic. Just the fact that after the make up, it feels so sweet to be the conqueror- to have the feeling of power! To feel the situation is under your control - to cause a fight and then to stop it. Isn’t it just so dramatically sweet to push the edges once in a while?

I love pushing his triggers. Some may think I’m an evil witch, but I’m simply making our relationship tempered, exciting, resolute, pert.

If you intentionally get into a fight with him – you are not sick in a head (and no, you’re not just a bitch). Scientists say that a healthy relationship is a relationship where there are arguments, and any argument needs a solution, right? That takes out our negative energy and brings us closer.

  • Breaking Rules

  • No matter how obvious it sounds most of the rules have been created long before us. By rules I mean systematized experience of previous generations, like handshakes and etiquette, and things like going for a social smoke. There is a rule that ladies go in first into any door except the elevator.

But rules are a need for the sense of stability around one. Society needs rules to forecast the effect of a cause, to have at least some confidence of the future. And this is what disappoints people. This is when they lose their confidence because things appear not the way they expected them to be. Those who were really dependent on expectations suffer from facing the world that is unpredictable, that the rules they believed in didn’t work at some turning point.

So they say that only fools learn through their own mistakes. Don’t you remember your mom telling you not to stick your tong out and put it against the metallic balcony railing when it’s freezing cold outside? Why did I skip my SPSS class with that macho from senior class? All of my friends were telling me he was a player and had nothing else in his head except for getting laid. Why do we learn things only after we go through them? This is what humans are like.

  • Sex Agenda

  • Inspired by “fuck” conversation last Saturday, which is a very delicate subject.

All of us, living in a fast growing temper of big cities are busy. We go to work, go to college full time, or have kids to take care of. There are plenty of things to do. When crazy week days are over we have yoga or tango classes, and shopping to do aside the chorus, french classes and getting a good sleep.

When is there time for sex?

The right answer would be - there is always time for sex. But the stress and busyness lead some couples to pencil their intimacy. It is logical, simple and hot to know that your schedule after works has a mark “Ryan 8 pm”. It is exciting to feel the anticipation, but on the other hand do we feel it is comfortable to set up our special moments with an important person for us on a basis of a scheduled task? It seems awkward to plan it, it is out of style, especially for femme-fatale like me, but even when sex is spontaneous, in every woman's head it is always planned. (wink!)
