We haven’t heard of Ms. Dupre for a pretty while and I was wondering how she’s doing. Well, the most famous New York call girl is trying to start a new career. You may think she think of moving to LA to seduce Schwarzenegger but instead she’s up for singing.

According to Page Six, Ashley has signed a manager to help her with the career. The one she’s chosen has previously been working with 50 cent, Busta Rhymes and Missy Elliott.

Does it mean Ashely Dupre is hoping to be a hip hop star?

50 cent with his senseless reality show on MTV may actually produce a new album that will finally get him back to the top.

Please! I used to like some of the stuff.

No one has forgotten the case with Taco Bell, when in July, 50 cent, whose real name is Curtis Jackson, filed a $4 million trademark infringement lawsuit against the fast food chain for using his name without permission in a publicity stunt.

This week Taco Bell fired back at rapper saying his multi-million dollar lawsuit against them, is just an attempt to “burnish his gangsta rapper persona.”

The claim comes from an open letter Taco Bell wrote to the rapper asking him to change his name to 79 Cent, 89 Cent or 99 Cent to help promote the chain’s “Why Pay More?” value meals.

The letter read:

We know that you adopted the name 50 Cent years ago as a metaphor for change. We at Taco Bell are also huge advocates for change. We encourage you to ‘Think Outside the Bun’ and hope you accept our offer.”

Comedienne Whoopi Goldberg has turned 53 years old today, on November 13th!

God, I love this woman, she’s so cool. Even though she once was a street bum, she had achieved so much! She is almost like Oprah Winfrey. Whoopi was the first one to say “Get rich or die trying”, she inspired people like 50 cent and Barack Obama, and she made people believe that they can change their lives.

She is one of only thirteen people who have won an Emmy, a Grammy, an Oscar, and a Tony Award, including Daytime Emmy Awards. In 1990, she became the second African American female performer after Hattie McDaniel to win an Academy Award for acting. She has won two Golden Globe Awards and two Saturn Awards for her performances in Star Trek Generations and Ghost.

I know you may not believe what I’m saying, I don’t care. My friend told me that and I trust my friends.

I don’t even believe that shit myself, so doesn’t wiki. But there are many things we don’t know about celebrities. They can easily pay off to hide their past.

Remember, Sandra Bullock? That bitch used to be a porn star; she bought off her hard-core scenes and got rid of them by burning them on the backyard of her LA home.

So, the moral is – you never know who Whoopi Goldberg really is! May be she’s a ghost?

Eminem returns with a book and a song

Missing in action for close to two years, rapper Eminem, 36, is making a comeback with a new album and a memoir.

Titled The Way I Am, book is to be released in the US on Tuesday, the Detroit Free Press reports.

The new album is called Relapse, and will be the rapper’s first release since 2005’s not-so-aptly named greatest hits compilation, Curtain Call. Eminem’s last original album was Encore, in 2004.

New $40 coffee-table book is part autobiography, part archival history. It’s an attempt to reveal the “real” Marshall Mathers through pictorial sketches and commentary.

Excerpt from Eminem’s new book The Way I Am

Some of the more newsworthy passages from our exclusive excerpt of The Way I Am:

On his infamous mood swings:

My mood can change quickly. It’s always been that way. When I was drinking, I could be in a good mood just loving everybody and feeling like everything was great then somebody would say the wrong s— to me, and before you knew it there was nothing my bodyguards could do to stop me from reacting and at least punching, spitting, or kicking a few times before they could get to me.”

On the Triumph/Moby/Christina incident at the VMA Awards several years ago:

You all saw the Triumph thing go down at the MTV Video Music Awards, right? That’s a pretty perfect example …I’ve got Moby behind me, and Christina [Aguilera] up onstage, and then this dog puppet gets up in my face. I’d been so busy touring and doing my own s— that I hadn’t had time to watch TV, so I had no idea what that dog was. All I saw was Moby and Christina and this dude who’s sticking his hand in my face, trying to be funny …My natural reaction was, ‘Get the f— out of my face. Get your f—ing hand out of my face.’ And that’s when I kind of lost it and a half …I stuck my fingers basically on Moby’s nose. Right in his face, like, ‘F— you’ …The thing is, in the hip-hop world, when you talk about someone, you might not want to see them, because you don’t know what’s going to happen. With Moby …my instinct was, someone talks about you, you see them, you fight. But Moby? Really? I was going to fight Moby? I was going to fight a puppet? In hindsight, I should have handled it differently, and I truly believe that if I were in that situation again, knowing the whole shtick with the puppet dog, I would have acted differently. What I actually got mad about was the most ridiculous thing in the world. A puppet.”

On how he’s changed and the importance of family:

This problem is not something I’m proud of. I mean, I’m a lot better than I used to be …but it’s still messed up. I’m 35 years old. I’m a dad now. Once you hit 30, you’re supposed to at least be a half-grown-ass man, you know what I mean? The truth is, a lot of things put me on edge …It can be something as simple as being asked a million stupid questions, or a rapper who’s not on my level trying to come up by starting beef with me …God knows, 10 years down the road I don’t want my daughters hearing about all this some¬where and going, ‘He thinks it’s cool to act like this.’ Because I don’t. But, you know, when you grow up like I did—bouncing around, fighting for everything—it does make you angry …It was almost a way for me piss back in the face of the people who pissed on me all my life—to get back at every bully who ever picked on me, every person who ever f—ed with me growing up. The fact that Hailie’s life is so differ¬ent than mine is one of my proudest achievements … The stakes are high, and my family comes first. Marshall Mathers behind bars isn’t cute, and Eminem behind bars is terrible for business.”

On gun violence:

Guns and violence have been around me my whole life—in my family life, in my social life, everywhere. I’ve just always had a fascination with them. I’m not saying I was a thug or that I dealt drugs or murdered people. That’s just how I was raised—step up or get stepped on—so I never really thought it was a problem, you know? Anybody who has a gun will tell you that at first it makes them feel powerful. I was infatuated. Obviously I don’t feel that way now. I’ve lost too many friends, family members, loved ones to gun violence. I would much rather use my fists. (Kidding.)”

Star-studded Friday

First you need to decide who you’d love to spend this coming Friday with. You may join Brad Pitt and George Clooney, or make it a girl night with Eva Mendes and Jada Pinkett Smith, or hang out with Robert De Niro and 50 Cent. I know it takes time to make up your mind so you can read about all these three great flicks opening this Friday before making your final choice.

Burn After Reading by Academy Award winners brothers Joel and Ethan Coen (No Country For Old Men) was first presented on August 27 at 2008 Venice Film Festival and now hits theatres Friday. The film has an all-star cast of George Clooney, Frances McDormand, John Malkovich, Tilda Swinton, Richard Jenkins, and Brad Pitt, and tells a story of a CIA analyst (John Malkovich) who quits the agency because of his drinking problem and starts writing memoirs about his work.

His wife copies all files from his computer including the work-in-progress memoirs. Eventually, the disk finds itself in hands of an unscrupulous gym employee (Brad Pitt) who decides to blackmail the agent. Brad Pitt’s character, by the way, has an incredibly stupid haircut.

Meg Ryan, Annette Bening, Eva Mendes, Jada Pinkett Smith, Debra Messing, Bette Midler, Carrie Fisher, and others star in The Women, a comedy that leads you into the world of women and their friendships. The film centers on a group of gossipy, high-society women who spend their days at beauty salons and haunting fashion shows. Meg Ryan’s character Mary is happily married and has her true friends, at least that’s what she thinks her life to be.

Everything is perfectly fine in her life till the day she finds out her husband cheating on her with a shop girl (Eva Mendes). Naturally, this situation becomes the hot talk among Mary’s bitchy friends, especially her best friend and main gossip girl Sylvia Fowler (Annette Bening). Will their friendship endure the trial?

Is judicial system always right accusing some people and acquitting others? That’s the question behind Righteous Kill, starring Robert De Niro, Al Pacino and 50 Cent. NYCP detectives David Fisk and Thomas Cowan (De Niro and Pacino) investigate the murder of a notorious pimp, which appears to have ties to a case they investigated years before.

As the investigation later reveals, the killer targets criminals that have not been punished by the system though being apparently guilty. The detectives think back to their earlier case asking themselves if they put the wrong man behind bars.

50 cent Hip Hop Cash King

Rapper 50 Cent is the Hip Hop Cash King, at least that’s what Forbes says. According to the business publication, 50 Cent has made $150 million over the past year, making him number 1 on the list of hip hop riches.

Mr. Curtis James Jackson III better known as 50 Cent is followed by Jay-Z who made $82 million.

Seems like there must be some kind of mistake here, right?

But turns out 50 Cent knows other means of getting rich besides making music and producing. The ‘In Da Club’ singer owns 10% of Glaceau, the firm owning Vitamin Water that was recently purchased by Coca Cola for a $4.1 billion. So 50 Cent’s business intuition turned his initial investment into a $400 million pay check, according to the source.

50’s portfolio also includes the popular G-Unit clothing line and record label, plus films, videogames and a slew of platinum albums, including last year’s Curtis, Forbes reports.

Rappers have more diversified portfolios than pop stars, that’s for sure. “They’re trying to buy some Gucci , I’m trying to buy the mall,” 50 Cent said of other celebs.

Sean “Diddy” Combs came third for the second year in the row earning $35 million. His revenue comes from his clothing line Sean Jean, record label Bad Boy, premium vodka Ciroc and two reality-TV shows.
P Diddy is followed by Kanye West ($30m), Timbaland, Pharrell Williams, Snoop Dogg, Swizz Beats, and Dr. Dre.

The rapper 50 cent and former American Idol winner Carrie were working hard performing boxing routine and other athletic sequences at the Recreation Center in Newark, New Jersey.
