Twilight author’s Female Force bio comic
Stephenie Meyer, author of all the books of the Twilight Saga became the very first writer to be included into Bluewater Productions’ Female Force bio comic series that feature strong and influential women who are shaping modern history and culture.
Stephenie Meyer has captured the imagination of millions. She has parlayed her stories into a cottage industry and that’s why we felt she was indeed a “Female Force’,'” Bluewater’s President Darren G. Davis said adding that the story would be told in “a very fun, respectful and unique way.” “Also, I’m hooked on the books like everyone else!”
The bio comic will be released in November shortly after New Moon hits theatres on November 20th.
According to the source, the book will be available in two versions, Female Force: Stephenie Meyer standard 22-page version ($3.99) and a double-sized collector’s edition with tons of extras ($6.99).
The standard version will tell Stephenie’s story examining her rise to popularity, her Twilight saga novels, the launching of the Twilight movie franchise and her future plans.
The extended version will also include the history of Forks as other bonus material not found anywhere else.
The comic is written by Flying Saucers vs. The Earth author Ryan Burton, drawn by Dave Macneil, and Vinnie Tartamella provides the cover art.
According to Burton, “a very recognizable and iconic vampire” will do the narration. Excited? I am.
It’s an equally strange and great feeling to write about an author of this magnitude, especially in a format that’s near and dear to my heart,” Ryan Burton said. “I think it’s brilliant that Stephenie Meyer’s story will be read by both fans of her work, and fans of the comic book medium.”
While Stephenie Meyer is the first fiction book author included into the series, Female Force has already featured such influential females as Hillary Clinton, Michelle Obama, Oprah Winfrey, Sarah Palin and Princess Diana.
JK Rowling is definitely not on the list. Looks like Harry Potter is so last season.
