While Amy is enjoying herself on a prolonged vacation in St. Lucia her management is working hard to come up with new ideas of money making. We never know when Amy Winehouse’s new and long anticipated album comes out, if at all, so her team has decided to exploit her famous soul-baring lyrics from Back to Black album for selling cards and wrapping paper, The Sun reported.
The first item in the Winehouse range will be wrapping paper with the chorus of ‘Rehab’ emblazoned all over it,” Jonathan Channon, EMI Music Publishing Europe vice president, said. “The Amy-branded cards are classy too. ‘You Know I’m No Good’ is best for heartfelt apologies and ‘Back To Black’, with an appropriate wreath, will be the respectful response to a bereavement.”

You know what’s the funniest thing? Amy has signed this deal! She agrees to squander her talent!
We are looking to create innovative revenue streams from our songs with mainstream retailers and the Amy wrapping paper and gift cards received a very positive response. These are songs which already have a great resonance with the public,” Channon added.
I wonder if Amy was drunk signing the deal, otherwise it sounds absolutely stupid.
