Chris Brown: Hate All You Want Because I Got Grammy!

Chris Brown Twitter account was full of furious messages today, responding back to critics who slammed his Grammys return – three years after he assaulted then-girlfriend Rihanna. Country singer Miranda Lambert was among a number of celebs who voiced their indignation on Brown’s Grammy on Sunday. Chris Brown, who received a Grammy for best R&B album for his fourth album F.A.M.E, didn’t keep silence and his Twitter account was flooded by his angry replies. Rihanna’s ex BF siad:

HATE ALL U WANT BECUZ I GOT A GRAMMY Now! That’s the ultimate F*** OFF,’ on angry tweet read.
Earlier he complained: ‘Strange how we pick and choose who to hate! Let me ask u this. Our society is full of rappers (which I listen to) who have sold drugs (poisoning). But yet we glorify them and imitate everything they do.”

He went on:

Then right before the worlds eyes a man shows how he can make a Big mistake and learn from it, but still has to deal with day to day hatred! You guys love to hate!!! But guess what???”

But somehow his tweets have since been removed from his account. Radar reports that Brown did not post the tweets by himself as they were done on his behalf by an assistant. The source adds thatBrown ordered to delete the tweets when he saw them.

It’s obvious that many celebrity attendees were not okay on fact Chris performed at the show, moreover with his Grammy accolade. Miranda Lambert was especially strict in her slamming of the star, as she took to Twitter to share her thoughts on his appearance at the evebt, also being sarcastic about the length of Nicki Minaj’s performance. She wrote:

How dang long did they give Nicki Minaj to do whatever that was? Strange. And Chris Brown twice? I don’t get it. He beat on a girl…”

Not cool that we act like that didn’t happen. He needs to listen to Gunpowder and lead and be put back in his place. Not at the Grammys.”

Miranda who is married to fellow country star Blake Shelton, meant one of her hits songs. Gunpowder and Lead, which was released in 2007, tells about the story of a woman who is getting ready to kill her abusive husband when he is released from jail.

Miranda sings the lyrics:

He slap my face and he shook me like a rag doll, don’t that sound like a real man. I’m going to show him what a little girl’s made of – gunpowder and lead.”

Lambert was not alone in thinking Chris should not have performed at the ceremony. Songstress Michelle Branch wrote:

Trying not to go off on a rant but…Chris Brown…*bites tongue* have we forgiven him? #Grammys”

The View host Sherri Shepherd also seemed to be repressing her anger and wrote:

Looks like all is forgiven w Chris Brown. That’s all I’ll say.”

Meanwhile Modern Family actor Eric Stonestreet quipped:

Are Chris brown’s mom and dad CBS and Grammy Brown?”

Chris performed his new single Turn Up The Music along with his collaborative effort with Benny Bennassi, Beautiful People. He then took to the stage again to perform I Can Only Imagine alongside David Guetta.

Meanwhile Rihanna sang her hit record We Found Love at Grammys, before taking the stage to duet with Coldplay’s Chris Brown.

Both RiRi and Chris were to perform at Grammys in 2009 the following day after Chris beat Rihanna. But they were forced to pull out of their respective appearances. A judge eased a restraining order last February after an attorney for Rihanna said she didn’t object to removing the stay-away provisions. The former order required Brown to stay 50 yards away from 23-year-old Rihanna, but the restriction was reduced to 10 yards if they were at a music industry event.

He has absolutely no shame! If he was contrite and sought real help for his anger after the incident, then a welcome back might be acceptable. He got this free pass without even having to change himself, and he tweets that cheeky message, the absolute nerve. The sad thing is that he will continue making money on his music for a long while, but he will never be happy or truly a productive member of society if that’s how he’s going to behave toward people. I feel sorry for him.
