Whitney is gloriously back!

And while some people say she wasn’t up to her pre-hiatus level of singing and performing I still believe she did a great job to come back. At least, unlike the likes of Britney Spears, she wasn’t lip-synching to the songs.

Whitney Houston had her first public show in 7 years on Tuesday as a part of Good Morning America‘s Summer Concert Series. Her performance was also aimed to promote her latest album I Look To You, that was released the same day.

While singing her famous tunes, Whitney surprised thousands of fans with her husky cracking voice later explaining that it was due to a lengthy interview with Oprah Winfrey, during which she talked too much while “I shouldn’t be talking, I should be singing.”

To support Houston on stage, her 16-year-old daughter Bobbie Kristina and mom Cissy also attended the concert.

In case you missed it yesterday, here’s Whitney singing ‘I’m Every Woman.’ And though she’s not as exuberant as she used to be 10 years ago, she’s still a brilliant performer. And we all should praise her for courage to come back after all the troubles she’s been through. Glad she’s back.

   I love her! She looks absolutely Georgeous! Would perferred to here her sing her songs, Whitney’s songs:) like “I Wanna Dance With Somebody” is soooOOOOOO much a better song than I’m every woman did not do her justice, Shakka can’t make it back the way Whitney Houston is try to impeccably make sound bites with her outstanding more grammy style and classy version, I would have accepted her aunt Dionne’s songs with hers instead of Shakka Kan’s.

   But she’s back, YYYYEEEAAAAHHH, and we are going to get to here more of her, AWESOME!!!

   SHE LOOKS GREAT, especially when she threw her arms up in dancing, FUN!!!
