Perfect! Canadian rockers Hedley make U.S. debut
Have you guys heard of HEDLEY before? It’s a Canadian pop/ rock band with terrific sound, awesome songs and great videos. As music experts say, Hedley can be described as Maroon 5 meets One Republic meets Good Charlotte.
Hedley swept the 2010 MuchMusic Video Awards earlier this year taking home Video of the Year and Pop Video of the Year awards, and now the guys are ready to conquer the States. Hedley’s U.S. debut album, The Show Must Go, will be released on December 7th.
The visually stunning music video for Hedley’s U.S. debut single, ‘Perfect’, has already garnered more than 1.8 million views on Youtube. Lead singer, Jacob Hoggard, who finished third on Canadian Idol back in 2004, has revealed why everybody falls for Hedley from the very first chord:
We’ve been dying to get down to the U.S. Once people pick up on us, they won’t put us down. We’re just real guys and that comes out in our music. There’s no disconnect between what we are and what we do. What you see is what you get. People like hanging out with us and seeing what we do next,” Jacob Hoggard said.
Check out Hedley’s ‘Perfect’ video, it’s my favorite new video this week! Can’t help but push replay over and over again.
What do you guys think about Hedley, Canada’s main music export these days?
