Leona Lewis has presented the official artwork for her second studio album, Echo, that will hit US music stores November 17th.
Doesn’t it remind you of Beyoncé Knowles’s I Am… Sasha Fierce cover art?
Leona is often dubbed as the second Beyonce, so her artwork is probably her way to deal with the comparison.
Lewis has tried a new image for the artwork, a more mature one, as it shows how much her music has evolved:
I titled my album Echo, since an echo describes a big, organic sound. I’m in the midst of the recording process, working with incredible songwriters and producers, and my music has really evolved. It’s so exciting to create something new,” Leona said.
For the sophomore record, Leona teamed up with Justin Timberlake, Ryan Tedder from OneRepublic, Max Martin, Xenomania and James Fauntleroy. So we should be ready for a brand new sound, though hope some of Leona’s sensual romanticism will still be present in her new songs.
The first single from the album, ‘Happy’ was released in early September.
Your thoughts, can Leona become the new Beyonce?
