This week witnessed the coronation of a new #1 hit on the Billboard Hot 100 Singles chart: a catchy song ‘I Kissed a Girl,’ sang by a 23-year-old brunette bombshell Katy Perry.

Here is the hottest remix to a sweet naughty song from singer’s album One of The Boys. The song is a smashing hit. M.C. by the name of KhaK Black really stepped up to the plate with his rap version and hit a home run.

For the remix the guy recorded new footage and interweaved into the original song video, and moreover, he actually got girls to do the making out! Unlike, surprisingly, the original version had no girl – to – girl action. Go ahead and check it out. I am more than sure it’ll become everyone’s’ favorite. It is already Madonna’s most favorite recent hit!

The song is bouncy, amusing, and even a little arousing. It is more obviously a tease: lyrics include “I kissed a girl, just to try it/ I hope my boyfriend don’t mind it.”

And really, what boyfriend would, in this time where girl-girl action brings in scores of viewers for Buffy the Vampire Slayer, the film Wild Things, or even Woody Allen’s upcoming flick Vicky Cristina Barcelona, which features a heavy love scene between Scarlett Johansson and Penelope Cruz?”

What’s funny is that Katy is the daughter of preacher with a musical history in Christian rock. She has admitted in several interviews that she has not, in fact, kissed a girl, although she said “if Scarlett Johansson wanted to kiss me, I’m not sure I would say no.”

Katy Perry also said (just as in the lyrics of the song) that she finds nothing “perverted” about the idea of female homosexual liplocking and that it’s “no big deal… it’s innocent.”
