Joe Jonas goes electropop for solo album
Announcing his solo music effort earlier this year, Joe Jonas, the middle brother from the Jonas Brothers trio, promised it to be something we didn’t expect of him. “A more dangerous sound” is supposed to introduce Joe to new audience and let him try on a new image of a pop/rock star.
According to Joe’s record label Hollywood Records, the new album will be released in early 2011 and feature typically pop sound as well as electropop. Electropop singer FrankMusik is one of the producers working on Joe’s solo debut.
He’s awesome. We’ve gone through a couple of different sounds,” Joe Jonas said.
I can definitely see Joe Jonas do something up-tempo, you?
In his September interview Joe also said that despite working with various producers and trying different genres he still planned his album to have “sexier, Justin Timberlake vibe.”
With his solo album on the way, Joe Jonas is the second of the trio to launch his solo career. The youngest, Nick Jonas and his new band The Administration released their debut album in 2009 and even went on tour in early 2010.
