Is Justin Timberlake ready to quit music?
Justin Timberlake is one of the few celebrities who’ve managed to make a very smooth (and critically acclaimed) transition from music to acting. Enjoying the best of his acting career now after an Oscar nomination earlier this year, Justin says he’s ready to quit music for good.
Like many other artists he assures he’s got “one more tour left” before he quits but he’s still not sure if it’s going to be a prolonged hiatus or a once-and-forever decision to stop doing music (“I really don’t know” Justin Timberlake told Vanity Fair).
In the same interview he said that we couldn’t expect any new music this year as he was going to focus on movie promotions throughout 2011.
The only job I have to do is promote the films that are coming out, and I’m really looking forward to that. It will be fun. I’ll get to go to a bunch of countries, hang out,” Timberlake told VF.
This year Justin has three movies hitting the big screen, Bad Teacher (out June 24), Friends With Benefits (out July 22), and thriller In Time (out October 28).
