Did you guys know Leighton Meester can sing?
I listened to her song and can’t say I loved it immediately but it’s such a good class pop tune you can sing along to while driving your car or doing something like that.
Leighton is exploring a new career recording her debut album with Universal Republic Records.
According to Aceshowbiz.com, the album is due this fall. So soon, right?
Meester is working with renowned producers that used to work with Justin Timberlake, P!nk, Usher Fergie and Kelis.
The Gossip Girl star is obviously excited and enthusiastic about the new experience, while her producers praise her for “boundless energy, focus, and a one-of-a-kind perspective to every facet of her music.”

The word in the street is that Leighton’s first single will be remix of Cobra Starship’s ‘I Make Good Girls Go Bad.’
So far, enjoyed the leaked ‘Birthday’, after the third time listening to it I find it pretty catchy.
