Confirmed: Joe Jonas is to release his solo album in early 2011
The middle Jonas Brother, Joe Jonas, is currently working on his debut solo album that he’s planning to release early next year, according to his label Hollywood Records.
The solo effort is gonna be a bit edger than what we usually hear from the Jonas Brothers. Joe wants his record to have “a more dangerous sound” but still “sexier, Justin Timberlake vibe.”
As of now, Joe Jonas is busy in the studio working with various writers and producers.
I’m writing songs right now. I’m writing a lot of music,” Joe Jonas said in one of his recent interviews.
With the record on the way, Joe Jonas becomes the second Jonas Brother to start his side project. Last year Nick Jonas launched his solo career with The Administration.
However, the guys say they’re definitely “not breaking up” and show full support for each other’s side projects. Likewise, Nick has said Joe’s music is “awesome” and “really good.”
To match his new image, Joe Jonas is said to completely change his look for the new album. Plaid shirts and jeans are giving way to the “T-shirt -and-leather jacket” look. Can’t wait to see that, though I can hardly imagine Joe as a rock star.
