Britney Spears is Femme Fatale for the new album
Britney Spears has released the official title and coverart of her new album, seventh in her career. Britney’s new studio effort is titled Femme Fatale and is expected in music stores in March this year.
Britney described her new album as “sexy and strong, dangerous yet mysterious, cool yet confident” and said the new record was for her true fans who’d been supporting her throughout her journey:
I’ve poured my heart and soul into this album over the last 2 years,” Britney Spears tweeted about Femme Fatale. “I’ve put everything I have into it. This album is for you, my fans, who have always supported me and have stuck by me every step of the way! I love you all!”
Spears’ team also added the new album was “a tribute to bold, empowered, confident, elusive, fun, flirty women and men.”
The first single off the album, ‘Hold It Against Me’, is out now and the video is coming soon. Britney’s manager Adam Leber said on Twitter that the video sneak peek was coming this week. So stay tuned to be the first to take a look at it!
What do you think about the coverart of Femme Fatale? I think it’s quite boring, like every other coverart Britney has released in the last couple of years.
