Whatever image I had, I could never imagine Holmes lying in bed naked, tied and covering his modesty with nothing but a pillow…
Guy Ritchie presents his own vision of the classic novel hero in the movie starring Robert Downey Jr. as Sherlock Holmes and handsome Jude Law as his friend Dr. John Watson.
The film focuses on the relationship between the friends while they try to investigate the tangled case to save the world as we know it, no less.
It’s definitely not the “classic” Sherlock Holmes, Downey’s character is the one to willingly get engaged in a fight, or get passionate with his lover (Rachel McAdams) or jump out of the window. He’s bold and unpredictable. Furthermore, he’s young and handsome.
