Calm down guys, Angie and Brad are fine. It’s just for a new movie.
According to Variety, Angelina Jolie will star in Gucci, a drama movie directed by Ridley Scott and telling the story of the fashion design empire.
Jolie will play Patrizia Reggiano, the ex-wife of Maurizio Gucci who plotted his murder and was sentenced to 29 years in jail for that.
While Angelina will portray the lead femme fatal, the story will center on Gucci and the turnaround he brought to the Gucci empire before he was murdered in Milan in 1995.
According to other reports, Scott definitely wants Leonardo DiCaprio to play the lead male character. Neither Leo, nor his camp has confirmed or denied his involvement in the project.
Gucci’s production will start early next year.
As soon as Angelina is finished with this movie, she’ll star in The Tourist replacing Charlize Theron. The thriller is about an Interpol agent (Jolie) in Europe who manipulates an American tourist (Sam Worthington,Terminator Salvation, Avatar) in an attempt to flush out an elusive criminal who was her former lover.
