Kim Kardashian’s And Kris Humphries’ Kouple Gone Kaput

Kim Kardashian, Keeping Up With the Kardashians reality show star has filed for divorce her husband Kris Humphries in Los Angeles Superior Court due to “irreconcilable differences”. Lavish wedding, celebrity status, millions of dollars and fame did not save this marriage that lasted only for 72 days. Gossips about tensions in Kim’s and Kris’ family appeared last week saying that Kim was more than angry because of her husband’s reluctant role in Kardashian brand. Kim Kardashian and Kris Humphries married on the 20th of August , 2011 in southern California having held a luxury wedding reported to have cost $20 million. Only in the USA about three million viewers watched TV special Kim’s Fairytale Wedding: A Kardashian event on E! earlier this month.

Kim Kardashian, an American businesswoman, television personality, socialite, model, and actress is one of the highest-paid reality stars on U.S. television. Last year she earned $6 million from her TV show, clothing line, perfume, jewelry, tanning cream production and modeling career. Her personal life is pretty rich with famous men: in 2000 Kardashian married music producer Damon Thomas and divorced him in 2004; later she dated R’n’B singer Ray J, NFL star Reggie Bush and Dallas Cowboys player Miles Austin. She was also seen with model Gabriel Aubry and allegedly had a short fling with Nick Lachey. As for Kris Humphries, NBA player,she began dating him in October 2010. They got engaged in May 2011, but on August 20, 2011 they got married in Montecito, California. It was reported that Kardashian and Humphries would earn $17.9 million from the nuptials, accordingly, that they paid nothing of the $20 million costs associated with it. Three $20,000 Vera Wang gowns and $400,000 worth of Perrier Jouet champagne were given free, as well as invitations from Lehr & Black estimated at $10,000; morevover, the couple got free catering for the 500 guests at the reception which would cost about $750,000.

So, let’s come back to divorce. What caused the split? Some claim that Kim and Kris could not come to agreement where to live, with Humphries assuming the pair would settle down his native Minnesota, but Kardashian wanting to be closer to Kardashian family that likes red carpets and endless glam events.

Kim Kardashian has already hired top divorce lawyer Laura Wasser, who has dealt with such celebrities as Britney Spears, Maria Shriver, Angelina Jolie and Ryan Reynolds. Us Weekly reported that the couple’s assets will be divided in accordance with their prenuptial agreement. Kim’s properties she had earned before the marriage are said to all be protected, and she will also keep all the assets she earned during their short union.

After careful consideration, I have decided to end my marriage. I hope everyone understands this was not an easy decision. I had hoped this marriage was forever, but sometimes things don’t work out as planned. We remain friends and wish each other the best.”

Khloe and Kourtney have tweeted to support their beloved sister in her difficult times.

As for me, I can’t see any logic in Kim’s actions. Promoting her notorious wedding working teeth and nails and flabbergast husband leaving him… I think that it’s just one of countless projects of Kardashian family, a kinda PR strategy. But who knows… One’s family life is Greek to others, so…
