Kanye West Show Was Critically Annihilated

Poor Kanye West, his desperate attempts to rock that fashion industry just not going well. Can I say it sucked? Uhmmm, I think he got his portion of harsh criticism, so let’s just leave it to the high fashion experts…

Seriously? Remember the lines from Kanye’s Stronger? Looks like this guy really thinks he is THE perfection…Oh come on, just face it, Kanye really should stick to his music instead. Even the models mentioned in his song Christian Dior Denim Flow couldn’t make it down the runway (except for Anja Rubik and Joudan Dunn if I’m not mistaking).

Paris Fashion Week in fact challenged the singer. Kanye has revealed his collection only to the industry insiders at the Lycée Henri-IV building, a public secondary school in the 5th arrondissement of Paris. But even the city of blinding lights could not help the American Boy to blind the fashion judges so his show was critically annihilated. Perhaps Flashing Lights were too sparky Mr. West?

It all started kind of loose… the show scheduled for 9:30 pm started over thirty minutes late. Only 23 looks in total featured fur, sexy dresses, lots of leather and very high heels. The top show guests were: Lindsay Lohan, Ciara, the Olsen twins, Jared Leto, Alexander Wang, Olivier Theyskens of Theory, and of course Anna Wintour, who really put down Kanye’s high expectations and absolute obsession to fashion.

When interviewed by New York Times about show Anna Wintour briefly said:

Ask someone else!

I think by saying nothing she said everything that needed to be said. The former head of French Vogue, Carine Roitfeld was more straightforward saying:

I’m sure he knows what he did wrong and what he did right … He tried hard, and he wants to learn.

Well, since Kanye run away from the runway, I guess I should just quote Mr. West:

Work it harder, make it better,
do it faster, makes us stronger,
more than ever, never over,
Our work is never over.
