For All the Single Ladies

This is just ridiculous!!! Here is a situation: a friend of mine calls me this morning all in tears like she was going to die (and she is a drama queen!), telling me how hard to be a pretty woman for a pretty model typo-guy who apparently dumped her a few days ago. Comoooaaaan! May be he was a super-hot model guy, but hey do you think it is worth it? I mean this entire ‘cry me a river’ thing? After listening to her wipes and promises to catch up with her these days, I really kept thinking, maybe there is no such thing as a pretty woman for a pretty man? Maybe there is no such a division at all?

Statistics show that at least 2000 people break up or get dumped every single day, and yet you get this miserable attitude towards your ex, waste your time, health, mood, anyway if  All by myself Bridget Jones typo songs describe you the best then you really got issues or you are turning into one of these desperate housewives …what for?! Well, sadly for someone in this position there can be no ‘love company’ but only for a while. But there is always a way out of any situation.

I’ve read recently that incidentally, it is a semi-scientific fact that it takes at least five break-ups and make-ups, with one extended period of sleeping together while still officially broken up, before the break up becomes permanent. How about that huh? Anyway, there are four simple things that pretty women should always remember.
1. You are beautiful no matter what! Just stick it in your head! Whatever people say, and I don’t mean blah blah about your inner beauty that every psychologist tells you, just never let yourself down. Keep up your high heels and feel magnificent as you are a Vogue girl.
2. Stop listening to depressive songs like Someone Like You by Adele, especially if you just broke up! Of course if this doesn’t make you cry then there’s no hope left. But still songs like Wake Me Up When September Ends by Green Day, Good Bye My Lover by James Blunt or I Know It’s Over by The Smiths – my favorite band btw, definitely will not leave you super happy and positive! Don’t watch depressive cry-movies either.
3. Dolce far niento –live your life just like Julia Roberts did! I was actually thinking recently to do the same ‘Eat Pray Love’ adventure.
4. ‘What ultimately defines a relationship is another relationship. After all, computers crash, people die, relationships fall apart. The best we can do is breath and reboot’ – remember this saying from Sex and The City? Yes, Carrie was right. She is definitely a relationship-expert anyway. Finally, you should remember that there is a thing called true friendship. Friends are the ones you trust,  rely on and share your problems and happiness.

If you are single there is always one thing you should take out with you on a Saturday night… your friends.
