Paltrow is a muse to Tods

Gwyneth Paltrow did a new line for Tod’s fall – winter line. She starred in a four-minute mini film shot by actor Dennis Hopper for Tod’s debuting at Cannes. It’s a day in the life of the blond fashion star in Italy with her Tod’s Pashmy bag.

Sounds like fun to me!

Tod’s creative director Derek Lam says:

Gwyneth effortlessly embodies the spirit of the all American woman with timeless elegance and modern flair – the perfect representation of the Tod’s woman. And, of course, beyond her impeccable style, she is an artist whose body of work I greatly admire.”

According to UK’s Vogue, Mario Testino photographed the campaign in Capri last month. The 36-year-old actress is said to evoke a “uber luxurious, outdoors-y life of a beautiful Italian aristocrat from the heady days of the jet-set era.”

According to Diego Della Valle, president of the Tod’s Group:

It had to be Gwyneth Paltrow. She’s the perfect ambassador for the brand, which is modern, charming, with a strong sense of family. To me, she’s the contemporary embodiment of Audrey Hepburn.”

Moreover, Gwyneth Paltrow and director Spike Lee were to present the Chopard Trophy given each year to two up-and-coming actors. She and her super high heels are everywhere!
