Justin Bieber & Selena Gomez’s style as a couple

Justin Bieber and his girlfriend of almost a year Selena Gomez are the hottest celebrity couple of the day due to the huge media coverage of their latest Hawaii PDAs, as well as joint appearances at awards shows, and lots of kisses in public. And when it comes to their style on and off camera, every outfit kind of tells us “we’re a couple.”

When it comes to public appearances including awards shows, premiere events, etc, Justin and Selena try to make sure their styles match. Not that they go matchy-matchy – let it be the color, accessory or the general style of the look, Justin and Selena try to show they’re together in everything they do, including fashion.

They first went public as a couple at the Vanity Fair Oscar Party this February. Selena Gomez was wearing a bright red Dolce & Gabbana dress and Justin was dressed in all black with a red handkerchief distinctively visible in his pocket. The color of this accessory matched the color of Selena’s dress.

Similarly, Justin and Selena opted for the same color for the LA premiere of his movie Justin Bieber: Never Say Never in early February. Both were wearing purple.

During their latest public appearance at 2011 Billboard Music Awards Selena Gomez was wearing an eye-catching cutaway black dress, while Justin opted for some color but still matched his girlfriend’s look with a black tie and pants.

As to Justin and Selena’s casual style, the matchy-matchy tendency remains here as well – either they both go monochrome, or pick the colors that are very similar in shade.

On May 23 Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez were seen catching their flight to Hawaii wearing the white t-shirts and khaki pants. Coincidence? I don’t think so.

Likewise, here Justin and Selena are seen enjoying some birthday shopping on March 1 wearing the same colored jackets, pants and t-shirts.

When in Hawaii, both Justin and Selena were seen wearing light shorts on the beach. Selena also opted for a white knitted top to cover her bright fuchsia bikini top.

Hope they won’t go overboard on their matchy-matchy style!
