However it seems that not all designers stayed conservative. In new Christian Dior, Donatella Versace and Balenciaga collections modern fashion-girls can find surprising brightness and flexibility of forms.
The Versace Cruise 2011 collection is very similar to that of spring 2010 and is represented with corset and cut-out platforms; lace-up high-heel boots. The main outstanding feature of this collection is extreme height and solid platforms.

Among other hot Fall/Winter 2010/2011 trends, designer shoes have many metal parts, extremely high heels and platforms, lots of pastes and paillettes.
There are two opposite axes of modern trends in shoes: the first is designed for naive little girls who long for romanticism, and the other one is specially for vigorous and self-confident women of present days.
