First Pic of Rihanna in Armani Jeans Fall 2011 Campaign

Since Rihanna has become a face Emporio Armani and Armani Jeans replacing Megan Fox it’s about time to take a look at her work as a model. The first pic of Rihanna in Armani Jeans Fall/Winter 2011 campaign has been revealed and I must say it looks quite not so bad. That peroxide wig is not really flattering but the rest of the look is fine.
The male spokesperson for the brand is a tennis star Rafael Nadal whose new ad campaign pic was also revealed recently has replaced Cristiano Ronaldo last year appearing in Emporio Armani and Armani Jeans Spring/Summer 2011 campaigns alongside Megan Fox who then was replaced by Rihanna who will also appear in Emporio Armani underwear campaign.

The brand is known for their celebrity faces. They also had Victoria and David Beckham as the faces before the pair was succeeded by Megan Fox and Cristiano Ronaldo.
In this photo shoot by Steve Klein who is known for his work for W Magazine the brand went for black and white film aesthetic:
The concept was based on a classic film noir, giving it a contemporary twist – sexy, yet sophisticated.
The photo doesn’t lack the twist for sure. A contrast between the retro setting and a modern clad Rihanna is nice and skinny jeans with puffy top is a good-looking mix here. Besides usually overtly racy Rihanna looks toned down yet sexy here.
Update: Check out Rihanna’s Emporio Armani underwear campaign.
What do you think of Riahnna‘s debut pic of the Armani Jeans Fall 2011 campaign? Hot or not?

These ads are meh, IMO. They could have styled her to be prettier. She’s cute, they should have worked with that rather than be edgy.
