Emma Watson models her new Spring/ Summer 2011 collection for People Tree
Harry Potter star, style icon and Brown student Emma Watson is featured in the new series of promo photos for People Tree’s new Spring/ Summer 2011 collection that she co-designed. Making it her third and final collection with the brand, Emma Watson made the collection girlie, fun, elegant, feminine and rock’n'roll at the same time.
Emma Watson’s new collection features various prints, designs and styles and seems to have a proper outfit for any occasion from denim Daisy Dukes to polka dot summer dresses and LBDs.
The design process continued with me trying on each and every piece to get the fits just as I wanted them, and then I visited Bangladesh to see the clothing actually being made and meet the people making it,” Emma Watson said about the new collaboration with People Tree.
Emma Watson also said she was working on the line while studying at Brown so People Tree’s founder and designers came to work with her in Rhode Island. Emma wanted the collection to be really wearable so she took an active part in deciding on all the colors, fabrics, shapes and craft skills.
Emma Watson’s final Spring/ Summer 2011 collection with People Tree is available now.
What do you think about the designs? I love this Helena Bonham Carter meets Agyness Deyn dress.
