Miami, Florida has just hosted its Miami Fashion Week. The runways featured 2009 swimwear collections from Belusso, Custo Barcelona, Diesel, Tommy Bahama, Red Carter, Pistol Panties and Ed Hardy… just to name a few.

Christian Audigier, the creative talent behind Ed Hardy’s rambunctious designs, made his own statement in killer leopard skin shoes that so very few men can get away with wearing. Audigier has had a pulsating, so in right now, affect on fashion.

Audigier and Hardy began when Audigier, who was intrigued by tattoo artistry, came across Hardy’s name while performing a Google search.

He learned that Hardy was widely considered by many as the “godfather” of tattoos.

The fourth annual fashion week in Miami, sponsored by Mercedes Benz, reportedly drew over 12,000 to its venue in South Beach on the grounds of the historic Raleigh Hotel.

Next stop is New York Fashion Week September 5th-12th.

In the meantime, Michael Jackson is pairing with Christian Audigier and launching a line to be sold exclusively this fall at L.A.’s Kitson.
