2008 back-to-school campaign
This goes to all the teenage girls who are excited to go back to school looking fresh and excited to tell their friends what they got to do over their summer holidays. Going back to school also means having your wardrobe refilled with new cool clothes so that everyone sees your sense of style… And of course that one guy you missed through the whole summer must be impressed by your new kick ass looks, and may be this time you will get to say “Hey, you! I don’t like your girlfriend, I think you need a new one…” meaning yourself. Follow up with Avril’s hot collection Abbey Dawn.
Avril Lavigne is just another celebrity who tries herself as designer. Miss Lavigne is debuting a new clothing line exclusively for Kohl’s.
Kohl’s Department Stores said they will use “today’s most relevant musical artists” including Lenny Kravitz, Avril Lavigne, Hayden Panettiere, the Plain White T’s and Vanessa Carlton for their back-to-school advertising and marketing campaigns.
The singing celebrities are part of what Menomonee Falls-based Kohl’s (NYSE: KSS) calls its “Inspired by the Artists…worn by you” campaign.
Singer says she is totally excited about her Abbey Dawn line and that the clothes is just like her own stuff. Avril took the style right from her wardrobe and it is something she would wear on stage.
My music and my clothes are really a reflection of who I am, and it’s been really cool to see that resonate with my fans.”
Check out the hot collection in the video as it is coming soon on www.kohls.com/inspire
