2012 Vanity Fair Oscar Party
It’s hardly rare to upstage the main event, which is the Oscars. But the 2012 Vanity Fair Oscar Party might have outdone the Oscars red carpet arrivals with its star studded attendees and better looking gowns.
The rest of the world tuned in for the red carpet arrivals at this year’s 84th annual Academy Awards. Sartorial eyes glued their eyes on the television in anticipation to see Hollywood’s A-list ctresses to show off their finest gowns. The look for this year was evidently more on the monochromatic side.
Stars showed up in neutral colored gowns, predominnatly blacks and whites. This might have been a letdown for some since, no red carpet gown this year seemed to stand out. Also, there was a lack of other famous celebrities who usually makes news on an everyday or weekly basis.
However, the Vanity Fair Oscars After-Party seems to offer more excitement than the actual Oscar arrivals. The rest of the famous celebrities in Hollywood gathered for a night of glitz and fame. They reportedly popped over 400 bottles of champagne to celebrate the victories of Hollywood’s biggest night.
Celebrities who were in attendance included Tom Cruise, Katie Holmes, David beckham, Victoria Beckham, Miley Cyrus, Liam Hemsworth, Amy Adams, Claire Danes, Olivia Wilde, Selena Gomez, Jennifer Lopez, Diane Kruger and many more.
