We know that President-elect Barack Obama will wear a Hart Schaffner Marx single-button, notch-lapel tuxedo on Inauguration Day January 20, 2009 but it doesn’t mean that we can’t check out other sketches other designers have drawn for President.

WWD presented more than 50 sketches from world noted designers that could probably be chosen for the big day.

After all, everyone would like to think he could be First Tailor as Steven Cox from Duckie Brown once noted:

[Obama] is the first president in a very long time that has a great body for clothing.”

So here are the sketches that I liked most. Most of them are of the elegant type, cause I believe President should be all elegance on his inauguration Day, do you agree?

And here’s Kenneth Cole’s sketch. In my opinion, it’s less traditional and less conventional than the rest of the sketches. But since Barack Obama is about change and progress, this sketch also counts.
