That was a unique party. At least, it’s probably the first that sees Paris Hilton don clothes that cost less than $100 each.
Paris Hilton, Hayden Panettiere, Kate Walsh, Nicky Hilton, Olivia Wilde, MIA, Sheryl Crow, Whitney Port and others all flocked to celebrate at the launch party for Jimmy Choo for H & M.
This is the first collaboration of the pricey shoe brand and affordable retailer H&M.
The party was quite of its own kind as guests were not only able to preview the cut-price collection before its official launch on November 14, 2009 but also wear their favorite pieces from it.
Paris Hilton, for instance, opted for a monochrome look in a black jumpsuit, black faux snake skin belt and pink box clutch that she paired with crystal and leather cuffs and black suede ankle boots.
I already love H&M but the fact that they are doing Jimmy Choo as well I think is amazing – the purses, the shoes, everything,” she said. “The clothes are so cute. They have so many fabulous things and I can’t wait to get the whole collection.”
Heroes star Hayden Panettiere was another black princess in a black sequined jacket and black leather treggings from the collection that she accessorized with a zebra-print bag with studs and a chain handle. Nice look.
I am in love with these pants,” Hayden confessed. “Tamara [Mellon] is so brilliant and such a wonderful designer. Her shoes are incredible.”
Actress Olivia Wilde opted for an open back black dress decorated with sequins. She took a crystal-studded star clutch that was also favored by some other guests, including Tamara Mellon, Jimmy Choo designer.
The only risque outfit of the night was that of new mom MIA. Her bright blue sheer top with a shark motif was totally crazy. Especially when paired with thigh-high leather boots from the collection.
Grey’s Anatomy actress Kate Walsh was another lady in black, wearing black traggins and velvet jacket.
The Jimmy Choo for H & M collection is hailed as rich in studs and Swarovski crystals, leather accessories, and 1980s vibe.
