SATC London Premiere
Finally the long awaited Sex And The City, The Movie world premiere had its launch in London. Hundreds of screaming fans waited for the New York girls since the dawn.
Sarah Jessica Parker, Kim Cattrall, Kristin Davis and Cynthia Nixon arrived to the red carpet in Leicester Square.
According to BBC, when asked to give a clue on the film’s content, Parker said:
I think it’s about what it means to be a grown-up, and to recognize your own complicity and disappointment.”
Sarah Jessica Parker arrived in a green tulle and feather dress by Alexander McQueen and a crazy headpiece by Philip Treacy.
The head piece is wrong. It makes Sarah look like acorn with butterflies and flowers growing out of it.
Kim Cattrall, who plays Samantha, said she was “thrilled” to be showcasing the film in London:
I love New York, I live there but I’m having the most amazing love affair with the UK.”
She looked fantastic in red Vivienne Westwood dress.
Cynthia Nixon, who recently revealed she had been fighting breast cancer, looked stunning in her sleeveless black dress.
Kristin Davis was the most conservative one out of the bunch, choosing a light red fringed-bottom frock.
Following the London screening, the film heads to Berlin on May, 15th before finally showing in New York on May, 27.
As for the cinemas the movie will be released on May, 28th.
SATC celebrity fans added glam to the premiere by showing up in trendy outfits.
