Crazy redcarpet fashion from 2011 Grammy Awards – 5 bizarre looks

2011 Grammy Awards were held last night at Staples Center in LA honoring the best in music industry this year.

Grammy redcarpet is known for bold fashion choices, exquisite and elegant designer picks as well as crazy looks you’re unlikely to forget in the next 12 months.

Here’s my list of the craziest redcarpet looks from 2011 Grammy Awards:

5. Willow Smith

Willow Smith, 10, arrived at 2011 Grammy Awards with her parents Will and Jada Smith to support her brother Jaden Smith who performed on stage with Justin Bieber.

Willow opted for a pretty strange outfit that was too much even for her fashion-forward style. I don’t get the pants – why the tail? However, the platform boots, a nice hairstyle and a funky bag are really cool. Love them.

4. Pauley Perrette

Actress Pauley Perrette arrived at the Grammy Awards in a strange green dress with three music notes embroidered on the front part of the dress. I’m kind of short of words to describe what I feel about this dress – it’s ugly and out of place here.

3. Katy Perry

Katy Perry looked like a Leona Lewis copycat in her bizarre custom-made Giorgio Armani dress, a Swarovski crystal-encrusted bustier and angel wings behind her back.

Katy’s look is not elegant; it turns heads, no doubt, but it’s a very poor example of beautiful Grammy fashion (even her Pre-Grammy Gala dress looked way better and more exquisite)

2. Nicki Minaj

While I’m generally impressed by Nicki Minaj’s Grammy look and love her Givenchy outfit I’m a bit startled by her new hair style – it’s so huge and so strange! However, it’s very Nicki Minaj.

This is all my hair! At night if I press a certain button, my hair grows up, and if I press another button, it grows a color on it,” Nicki Minaj said on the carpet.

1. Lady GaGa

Nobody can outdo Lady GaGa when it comes to unforgettable redcarpet appearances. This time GaGa turned up on the redcarpet in an opaque egg carried by four men from her entourage. Later during her ‘Born This way’ performance GaGa appeared from the egg as if saying she was born this way with horns on her forehead and bones protruding from her shoulders.
