Angelina Jolie wows 2011 Cannes Film Festival in gorgeous Versace dress
Angelina Jolie looked every inch the queen of elegance in a beautiful Atelier Versace dress at yesterday’s premiere of Brad Pitt’s new movie The Tree Of Life at 2011 Cannes Film Festival.
The deep chocolate brown dress was quite a daring choice for Jolie who’s known for her love of dark colors and demure designs. The strapless dress not only had a fancy side decoration but also let her show some leg in a long side slit. Jolie completed her image with Ferragamo shoes and simple jewels.
Unlike some previously released photos that showed Angie with dark bags under her eyes and pale complexion, Jolie now looks healthy and happy – sure it’s due to the fact that she’s back in France, the country her family loves so much.
During her redcarpet interview Angelina revealed the name of her directorial debut about the Bosnian war. The film, set for released on December 23 this year, will be titled In the Land of Blood and Honey.
It’s a heavy film [so] you want to find that title that really helps the audience know what they’re walking into,” Angelina Jolie told EW. “[Coming up with a title was] driving me crazy. I have lists and lists of titles all over.”
