Ashley Greene is 2009 MTV VMA fashion correspondent

Twilight Saga hottie Ashley Greene has confirmed serving as a fashion corresponded at this year’s MTV Video Music Awards that are held this Sunday in Radio City Music Hall in New York.

Ashley will be accompanied by Sway and Tim Kash from MTV News to interview celebrities.

According to AceShowbiz.com, this year’s fashion interviews will get slightly modified and include interview sessions with A-listers hours before the ceremony officially begins to document their preparation for the show and their way to the venue.

Days before the ceremony, last year’s fashion correspondent Taylor Swift gave Greene her own piece of advice on what to do and how to behave on the redcarpet. According to Swift, Ashley must “have a general knowledge of what’s going on in the careers of musicians today” and be able “to think on your toes” as you never know who’s the next to walk up.

In general, a fashion correspondent must be the one “who really likes talking to people and who has really great style.”

In related VMA news, it was confirmed that trailer for Michael Jackson’s This Is It movie about the late King Of Pop’s final rehearsals will also debut at the show.

It will become the second greatly anticipated teaser premiere, as New Moon‘s fresh trailer is confirmed to be presented during the show by Twilight lead actors Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart and Taylor Lautner.
