Though Jennifer Garner gave birth to her second daughter last week on January 6th, it’s only now that we know the baby’s name. So everyone, meet Seraphina Rose Elizabeth Affleck.
Unlike many celeb baby names, this one has some meaning. The name Seraphina derives from the word “seraphim,” which was Hebrew in origin and meant “fiery ones.”
Seraphim is one of the highest orders of angels,” baby name expert Pamela Redmond Satran told Us Magazine. “And Rose as the middle of the name relates to Violet [Jennifer and Ben Affleck’s first daughter’s name] as a flower name.”
Anyways, we’re glad to meet Seraphina Affleck and can’t wait to see her first pics!
