Sandra Bullock has adopted a baby boy

Oscar-winning actress Sandra Bullock sat down with People Magazine to tell the whole behind-the-scenes truth of her life of the last couple of months.

Separating from her cheating husband Jesse James isn’t the most important event in her life. In January 2010 Sandra became a mom adopting an adorable baby boy from New Orleans, Louis Bardo Bullock.

The star and her three-month old son grace the latest cover of People magazine.

In her interview with the mag Ms. Bullock said she and Jesse had started the adoption process four years ago and took their bundle of joy home just weeks after Louis was born.

Now more than a month since Sandra left the home she shared with James, she says she’s filing for divorce and plans to adopt the baby as a single parent.

I did the only thing I could do, and that was to pack enough clothes to live on, get all of Louis’ things and get out of town. My main concern was Louis,” Sandra said.

Judging by the interview Sandra is absolutely smitten with her son:

All I said when I met him was ‘Oh, there you are’. It was like he had always been a part of our lives. I’m just amazed with him and at life. He’s just perfect, I can’t even describe him any other way.”

As to divorcing Jesse, Sandra says she’s sad and scared but she thinks about his three children in the first place:

I don’t want to know what life is like without those kids. Whatever we need to do, in the healthiest way, we are going to be co-parenting.”

She’s an angel, isn’t she?

As to her douche hubby, he said letting his wife go and letting her adopt Louis as a single parent “has left a huge hole in my heart.”

You know what Jesse? We don’t care!

UPDATE: It’s also been revealed that Sandra is moving to New Orleans where her adopted son is from. According to E!, she has purchased a $2.25 million home in the city.

New Orleans is his city, and he is going to know it inside and out. Without the spirit of the people who live there and take care of the city and honor its traditions, its love for music, its love for life, take those people out and you don’t have why I love New Orleans so much,” the actress explained.
