Baby Spice – Mel C shows her newborn daughter
Sporty Spice also known as Mel C or Melanie Chisolm was the last of the world famous girl band members to become a mom.
She gave birth to daughter Scarlet Starr on February 22, 2009 and a couple of weeks later posed with her precious charge for Hello! magazine cover.

Melanie & Scarlet have had their first photo shoot! Melanie is happy for a picture to be released as she knows her fans are eager to see a picture of Scarlet. Mel C’s Spice Girls friends, Victoria Beckham, Mel B, Geri Halliwell and Emma Bunton shared their joy over the new arrival, stressing that Scarlet is “cutest little girl” they’ve ever seen.
Being backstage at the shows with the girls and all the kids made me think, ‘Yeah I could be a good mum,’” Mel C told the publication. “I used to love the fact that I was the only Spice Girl who didn’t need to lug around loads of baby stuff. Mad, innit? Me, a mum.”
