Vanessa Hudgens and Zac Efron fuel engagement rumors

I know lots of hearts will be broken, so sorry girls.

High School Musical star Vanessa Hudgens fueled engagement and marriage rumors when she said:

We haven’t set a date and if we did we’d keep it secret for as long as possible. Why? What if one of us was offered a major film part? Then we’d have to postpone our marriage and people would say we’d split up. And we don’t want that.

Zac Efron’s camp has not commented on the rumor yet, so there’s still hope it’s nothing but a rumor after all.

Besides, this isn’t the first time we hear this stuff. The last time it was this February when National Enquirer reported Zac proposed during the couple’s promotional trip to Japan in January 2009.

The sources claim Vanessa’s mom is all about the engagement/ marriage stuff as she doesn’t approve of the sweethearts living together before they’re married.

Zanessa first confirmed their relationship in 2007 after almost a year of dating.
