Taylor Lautner, Taylor Swift split
One of the hottest young couples of the last half a year, Taylor Swift and Taylor Lautner, have parted ways in mid-December thinking they were better as friends than as a couple.
It wasn’t really developing into anything, and wasn’t going to, so they decided they were better as friends…There was no chemistry, and it felt contrived,” US Weekly quoted a close friend as saying.
According to People, Taylor squared were never all that serious in the first place.
It was never a big deal to begin with. The media made way more out of it than it is,” a source close to Swift said. “They went out on a few dates and realized this was just not going anywhere. [Lautner] lives in L.A. and she lives in Nashville and their busy schedules kept it from becoming more than it was.”
Besides, if the source is to be believed, Swift wasn’t as much into Launter as he was into her.
He liked her more than she liked him. He went everywhere he could to see her, but she didn’t travel much to see him.”
So sad, they looked wonderfully beautiful together.
Taylor and Taylor met while filming Valentine’s Day in July this year. They’ve been spotted together since October and Lautner was among guests to Swift’s 20th birthday party. During their SNL gigs they both addressed the dating rumors though never going public with their relationship.
Still, even if they’ve broken up, you’ll see them together in Valentine’s Day, out Feb. 12, 2010.
