Shut up & apologize or get sued!
No more split rumors about Brangelina.
Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt are suing UK’s News Of The World for spreading false split reports and refusing either retraction or apology.
The couple filed a lawsuit as soon as they found out about the reports. Their London based lawyer said in the statement:
The News of the World has failed to meet our clients’ reasonable demands for a retraction of and apology for these false and intrusive allegations which have now been widely republished by mainstream news outlets. We have advised them to bring proceedings, which they have now done.”
Angie and Brad showed their true love and affection during the Super Bowl game on Saturday kissing and hugging when their favorite team won. Jolie and Brad have always been really good at PDAs to dispel break-up rumors.
As to The News Of The World, nobody knows how much the Hollywood super couple demanded in damages but regardless of the sum it’s the best promotion the tabloid could ever ask for.
In related Brangelina news, as it’s just been revealed Jolie and Brad will not reprise their roles as Mr. and Mrs. Smith in the movie.
New York Magazine revealed that Fox is developing “a quasi-prequel” to Mr and Mrs Smith entitled Mr. and Mrs. Jones. This story “serves as an origin story about a similar but differently named couple, showing how a pair of twenty something spies are set up as a fake married couple when they graduate agency training.”
